Finally the Cathay Tristar! Instant pre-order for me. Since I have the same reg. in 1:200, I'll probably post a comparison once I get my NG.

That Corsair 747SP will be awesome and much better than the old Gemini version, that's for sure! 😍

However, I'll actually let it pass because I want a Corsair B747-100 instead. I'll see if I can have a custom model of it. The B747-300s which Gemini also released don't interest me, the engine pylons are too ugly 😖
 
HL83 A321 can be Air Busan ceo, Busan and Asiana NEO. HL85 A321 can be Busan, Asiana and Korean Neo. My best bet would be Air Busan ceo and neo. The Dreamliner B-17*** can be EVA Air -10. The Qatari 787s are still coming and I guess a series -8 would be nice this time.

YR-XXX - Tarom a318, could be a rerelease

G-GXXX - will probably be the UK government a321Neo
C-GXXX - will probably be an air Transat a321Neo
SX-XXX - will probably be Aegean. Could be the regular a321 or the NEO

RA-85XX - Could be a Russian government tu-154

not a bad month overall, if my predictions are correct, I’ll probably get the qatar 788, air Transat a321neo, Aegean a321 and the Russian government tu 154.

im hoping that we might see some easyjets and Ryanair’s at some point 😀

Right, that's the Air Busan expo special livery according to some Korean collectors who've communicated with NG. I've also heard Asianas are coming soon.

If that's indeed an Aegean, I may have to get it, despite narrowbodies generally being outside my criteria. I've flown on the old livery A321s a few times...

NG needs to slow down with these massive releases! I’m loving the variety here but my goodness, can their factory keep up with this next batch? Praying QC isn‘t a huge issue out of this release.

I agree, these massive releases are becoming a bit too much. While it’s great for variety, you would think that if they’re going to commit to this, that means they have the capacity and the means of doing them all without delays or perhaps even allowing QC to slip through the cracks at times. I definitely think there has to be some sort of correlation there, at least on the delays part.

Hopefully their factory is large enough and that they wait to do this until after the holiday because this will need a lot of manpower. I wouldn’t be too surprised if there’s silpups in this batch as well but you hope that’s not the case.

As much as it would be great, I doubt NG will be making any Virgin Blues. They have little interest in Australian aviation history, one of my friends emailed them asking if they could make those two aircraft and they said maybe but unlikely. The 13 6789 livery has a special place in my heart, my first Virgin Blue flight was on that bird. I'd say the best bet for the VH-s would be Bonza and/or REX.

Also, do anyone know why qatar airways is more represented by model makers for past 3-4 months?

World Cup, I assume. Hopefully it doesn't last, Qatar's mind-numbingly boring. I haven't seen or heard of a single person who collects Qatars.

I would buy an Air India 788 in a heartbeat! Most likely Qatar is getting a lot of love by NG because of the World Cup, but now that is over you would think they might relax a bit...
