I think it is their prerogative to request that the hints continue to be a tradition of The Hangar. Anyone is free to create an account and speculate on the monthly Aeroclassic releases over there though.
Jorge you pretend that you want everyone just to get along yet you continue to actively support people that go out of their way to spread lies and hurt people. You have an issue with people discussing model aeroplanes in a perfectly civil way, if they dare have an opinion about what is good or bad and want to tell them how they should speak. Are they inaccurate ones though? From where I'm sitting your support for Klein and Paresh is obvious regardless of what they do and you're distaste for people voicing opinions about models is well documented. You're not alone in sitting on the fence in relation to 400SH and Klein but you have been actively attacking me recently and that nonsense AK is saying about the PHX 747 clearly relates to you and me.
I'm just going about my business and have been actively avoiding responding on DAC and the FB groups but it is getting intolerable

Yeah but I'm banned on the other forum and yet on here we have people defending 400SH to the hilt and advertising it as some kind of blissful place to discuss the scale.
And if I said anything like what is being said about me about you or anyone else there'd be an outcry. But apparently it is fine to say it about me - or is it just ok when it isn't directed at you personally?

You just need to grow a thicker skin IMO. With a less paranoid view on things you'd realize there's not a single reaction on his post so far.
I'm sure people on 400SH know how to take his repeat bull* but just want to enjoy the hobby.

You say that and yet I get repeated younger people telling me how they don't understand why there is this drama and blaming me for it. Older collectors largely understand who and what he is but younger collectors do not.
Instead I see individuals advertising 400SH and part the joiner's experience will be they get to hear this trash and will believe it because good people stay silent so they can get access to the hints. Some of them the same people who want to be my friend.
I get people posting lovely dovey photos of the very abuser on sites I am the admin of as if that is fine and in no way a provocation or insult.
I'd love to see how thick your skin is Alex if I publicly post messages calling you a cancer and threatening you and your family. I'm sure you'd turn the other cheek. Yeah right you would.

What do you mean wr can all discuss model on 400SH as long as we say that AC is the best and that they have no issues. but in all honesty if you Andrew thinks that you goo against him even if it's a bit or not at all he will probably ban you from 400SH that's why members of 400SH can't really criticise AC on any forum.

There is a saying "don't feed the trolls" and this is in my opinion a fine example. AK didn't want to share the hints because they were being shared here on MAF, yet you post them again, a clear attempt to trigger AK. We all know that AK isn't saying nice words at all and it is being ignored on 400SH for a reason. Because we just enjoy the hobby and don't continue on the negativity that is coming from him.
His words about your reviews are almost always unreasonable so don't think I say you're wrong about everything, but there is just no way to change his behavior and pushing him like this will only give him more reason to keep posting treats and insults.

So what you're saying Mark is that it is ok to ignore it because 'nobody will change his behaviour' and you are actively supporting 400SH even though the site allows it to happen and the owner is complicit. I repeat again if this was aimed at you would you ignore it? I doubt it.
What should be done is he should be reprimanded, isolated and made to look like the fool he is. He has already been banned from the 2 biggest FB groups for this reason (not even at my asking) and has had his posts regularly edited or deleted even on DAC (where the admin is hardly a fan of mine). If 400SH won't change its ways then it should be left to rot and certainly not promoted.
I understand that you want to 'just enjoy the hobby' but there are consequences to enabling this, which is what you are doing frankly.

I agree with Richard here on all fronts.
The recent message by AK on 400SH (that Richard posted) was completely unprovoked, and unnecessary.
Going by recent happenings, one can however clearly see that they're sadistic and hate-filled vitriol aimed at gaslighting people into believing what he says.
The very fact that no one says anything about the abusive content is an indication of which side they're on.
The very same members who behave in this evangelist, holier-than-thou manner on this forum - are party to the abuse and hate that's being spilled elsewhere - by neither vocally reprimanding it, nor being clear that they are not supportive of such behavior.
That is a clear reflection of one's position on the subject - and I would also say, their own insecurities.
I would challenge @YankeeVictor and others to respond there in a way they do here - this kind of insidiousness is pretty disgusting if you ask me.
Frankly if people continue to behave in a certain way, and are visibly abetting or goading others, then it's not about the hobby anymore as they want you to make it seem. It's about their fragile egos and perhaps eroding sense of self or importance.
If you're new to the hobby, you'd think that AK is being hunted and threatened and terrorised by the two people he has openly named. I mean, c'mon. Looking at the spate of recent release QCs , and when you are witnessing the histories of interactions in various forums, you know it's quite the opposite.
A megalomaniac wants to attract as much attention to themselves, by putting down others personally, by invoking virulent and abrasive assaults and insults upon them.
I feel sorry for such individuals, and the individuals who support their vendetta - thinking it would make them seem more important than they think themselves to be, or give them a sense of importance by opportunistic self-promotion and association.
They definitely need therapy or psychiatric help for repeatedly demonstrating their instabilities - playing the victim card while actually being the abuser - and not knowing how to be gracious in one's acknowledgement and acceptance of change and transformations - and neither making the conscious effort perhaps, doing the work, to effect that change and become relevant or pioneering again. Or, like really great people, knowing when to make a gracious exit, knowing when to make room for others. For Other individuals , as well as for other brands.
Too much hubris.

I should make it clear that I'm not expecting to change the opinion of those who have clearly nailed their colours to the mast already, however I don't see why I should remain silent and take this abuse while he gets to say and do whatever he likes.
At the very least there should be a record somewhere rebutting some of it. I'm sorry if this gets in the way of the enjoyment of collecting for you. Take a minute to imagine how it makes me feel.
