NG Models June 2024 Hints

In the past 2 months, these are the models released or announced for pre order from Europe DESPITE most of these companies being from Asia.

All of that is within the space of April, May and June announcements. I would presume that there are more 1/200 collectors in Europe to warrant such a demand but it just shows how bad NGs diversity is and puts to bed the excuse “NG is a Chinese company, you should expect them to make Chinese models” is rubbish, NG make what they want and clearly europe isn’t worth much to them. Until they buck their ideas up I’ll be moving over to a much more peaceful and less frustrating life in 1/200 😂
Very True - My only speculation is that - they probably see the Chinese and US markets / models as profitable - I'm assuming, driven by the need to recoup capital investments in mould making / expansion / etc (which seems the likely scenario) .

Even Asia isn't really fully represented - if you look closely - in fact not at all fully.

Either their market surveys are way off the charts, or they have a flawed method to ascertain production.

NG's loss though, is PHXs / JCs / Av400s gain. Sadly so - as NG has the best moulds in the biz. Lately I've been reluctantly and belatedly picking up models from other brands for which NG has / will have a way better mould. Not good for the pocket.

Totally agreed lol. As much as I tried moving to 1:400, NG has released exactly two models in my criteria since 2022. Meanwhile in 1:200, JFox and JC dropped 3 SQ 777s and a KE 744, all within the last 6 months. After a certain point, enough is enough.

Shame the 1:200 forum here is dead though.

If only 1/200 would offer more for the dollar. I mean, the average 1/200 is less accurate then the usual NG400 with barely any more detail. All this at twice the costs and taking 8x the space. No option for me.
With NG's highly frustrating release schedule and their utter horrible 747 sample I just found myself opening the sealed bag of a mint 1981 Hasegawa 747 kit.

True, gear and engine details are lacking for the size. Not to mention the horrible magnetic gears and QC issues, which seem to be twice as common as 1:400s which are half the price.

Quality 1:400s are the best, but NG's releases suck and Panda barely does anything.

As expected 🙄

What even is this NG? Some sort of joke? Almost 40 releases, and ONE European model!? 1 from Asia outside of China, and 17?!? B regs. Normally I'm fairly tolerant of the CN models but this is ridiculous.

But hey, at least there's a CZ A350. I'll have to pick that up, I missed out on most of the other releases.

Why on earth are they releasing two of those specials, but not even one normal? 25 77Ws have worn the regular colors for 15 bloody years, yet they can't be arsed to do any of those. What a joke.

well if you dont mind, JC has released a KE 77W in standard livery, bearing the same rego HL7204 earlier this year, which i assume they gave up the idea of BP livery half way.

I sure do hope they don't screw up the four 767s. Seems like all of the livery choices come with high stakes for such new moulds...

Maybe the worst set of releases is ready for pre order at

True, gear and engine details are lacking for the size. Not to mention the horrible magnetic gears and QC issues, which seem to be twice as common as 1:400s which are half the price.

Quality 1:400s are the best, but NG's releases suck and Panda barely does anything.

While I agree with this, the 1:400 manufacturers also need to seriously up their game when it comes to QC. I have 3-4 models from both NG and JC which came either with a crooked or broken antenna. Also, some of the front landing gears on my GJ/JC models are bent. I don't know if this is the case with the beating that they get during transportation, but these issues haven't come up yet on 1:200 models.

I'ts true that NG is the best of the three I mentioned. Let's just hope that they maintain QC while releasing these massive sets...
