Yeah, the 9V is most likely a Scoot. NG already released an SQ 787 some time ago. N310XX is either Eastern or TWA. Good time for Tristar fans, since the Cathay one is likely dropping next month as well.

Nice! I will have to get it, but I admit I was hoping for 9V-OJE, I saw her a couple of weeks ago flying out of Melbourne. Where did you get the information that it was OJJ from?

Good question. I heard news from my aviation friends that the aircraft is in the Pokémon livery before it was announced and the thing is that this is NG Models first release of a Scoot 787. They only did the Singapore Airlines 787's. The Pikachu Jet should be high in demand. Hence, they are making it. 9V-OJE was in the SG50 red dots livery but NG Models does not make liveries that are repainted that frequently unless it is high in demand such as the like of American Airlines Sliver Bullet and the 2 Alitalia liveries

And yes, the Pickachu Jet might be in high demand, but Phoenix and JC have already announced that they are making it, and NG making it would likely just add to an already crowded market of now three releases of the same aircraft. You could make the argument that PH's 787 mould is outdated, but we have the excellent JC one to make up for that. That's why I would like to see a regular Scoot 787-9 instead, regardless of registration. My personal preference for standard Scoot 787s would be OJE as I have seen it and that adds another level of value to the purchase for me, which is why I said that.

After some thought, the Landor L1011 is the only must-have for me. Seems unlikely N310XX is bare metal Eastern, which I would've picked up in a heartbeat.

I agree with you in both aspects. I prefer NG’s 787 over JC, and would rather a Scoot 787 over no Scoot 787. Regardless of which one it is, I will probably buy it, and if it is OJJ, I will hope we can see a normal one in the future as well. Oh well, I guess we can just wait.
