NG Models December 2024 Hints

So one voted release per set is NG’s MO? The order seems to be random as well, they jumped from #1 (Qantas 789) to #9 (KLM 321).

Also, dropping a fantasy 748 instead of the REAL, HIGHLY REQUESTED, SUPPOSEDLY APPROVED FOR PRODUCTION one is a choice 🤣

Jesus people are impatient, give it some time, voting only started in October.

The fact that people have been raging for the past two hint cycles that NG has not produced what they voted for is insane.

I kinda agree about people being impatient, but it's so damn hard to figure out what NG people think. I mean... Luke Air A330 was one of the most stupidly random releases i've seen lately. No one asked for this one, and I find it quite hard to see demand for a defunct Italian charter airline which barely flew. It's hard to keep our hopes up. NG is lately hyping people up and underdelivering

Maybe it would be against God's will for NG to make a normal version of the Thai Airways A350, and the same is true for Turkish, Vietnam, Asiana and ITA. They have fun releasing bizarre fantasy liveries, and the ridiculous Landor BA77W(they even made a Trent800 BA77W before), oh but, I'm not interested in the 777 before the NG repair the head shape

Will be picking up the Air France A350. Been eyeing a re-release given that the 2 releases from 2022 are simply impossible to come by even online. To be honest, I’m not bothered by the Paris 2024 sticker. Makes the model stand out a little bit in my opinion.

I hope NG will soon realize that fantasy will not sell to the extent they think. It’s easy to get a collector to buy a model of a plane they flew on or have seen at the airport or even need for their collection. I know there’s probably a few people who want that BA 77W but you could pick a random 777 with any real livery and it would almost certainly sell better. I used to see NGs vision with all the N- and B- releases but this is just bizarre.

- So it's good to see a smaller release set
- and it's actually a way better set than previous months

(EDIT) 6 + 1 will come home to me -
- both DLs
- AF A350 - that sticker is microscopic and doesn't affect the minimal livery so I'm good.
- the Luke Air 9H-RTU - there's lots of complaints but what people don't realise is Luke Air was the successor of Blue Panorama - a significant charter operator, and besides, it's a fabulous scheme and one of the best looking EU A330s ever - this will join my 'just because / A330' collection lol
- EP-IAA
- one of the CZ 788s - there's no real exterior difference between the engines afaik (not sure about the fan blade count differences if any though, or the hot section differences - the models don't show any for the latter)
+
One of the Hainans maybe

I agreed with you but there is one thing that many not notice:the timeframe between release announcement and actual model photo post is relatively short (2 weeks) for the last 2-3 releases. That could hint the models should have been in the production line by the time the release was announced, which means that the release idea and artwork are done in some time before. I guess that the requested models are on the artwork drawing board. So patience is the key though. But i honestly don’t want to see a requested model being made as a “lite” version.

Clearly they were always going to make that KLM A321 and it was under design already. It is such an obvious release that every single person wishing for it was wasting their time. The wish centre doesn't make much sense if people just wish for models NG would have made anyway!

If CRP works the way they told us it perfectly makes sense😉

Most of the approved models do seem like fairly obvious choices. Of course, NG probably wouldn’t have touched some of those obvious choices if collectors hadn’t forced their hand…

Part of me wonders if it was just a stunt to gain brownie points from international collectors? Who knows.

When dealing with the public it's best to give as little information and put in as few rules as possible. It doesn't do any harm to let people wish for anything but they never said they'd base all their releases from the wishes and it just needs some common sense from people to see that they will likely always make any major new livery/airline combos. After all everyone makes them.

You said it doesn't make sense to wish for these. I say it does.
Spend 1 point on the KLM and get +2 in return, granted CRP works the way they say it does. So it makes no sense NOT to vote on stuff like this.

In case of the KLM 321, my point was wasted. KLM airframes with a white belly/engines are a no deal.
