NG Models November 2024 Hints

I noticed on AF 777-300ER F-GZNA artwork that the windows configuration is wrong. F-GZNA should have the 4 class config (with 4 windows on La Première and a plug on the 5th window to separate first class and business). On the F-GZNA NG artwork they represented the 3 class windows configuration.View attachment 35686
Also the window after L2 (and R2) should have a plug too. The window configuration is symmetrical on this aircraft.

I really don’t know if NG used pictures of the wrong registration or if they think all F-GZNx have 3 class config which is wrong.

However, their F-GSQG, F-GSQH, F-GSQI artwork have correct windows configuration which represent the 4 class config. And F-GZNP has the 3 class configuration and is correctly represented in the artwork.

Here you can see F-GSQG artwork which correctly represent the 4 class configuration

Something else I noticed is the missing wifi domes :(

NG has to fix their F-GZNA windows config and don’t forget the wifi domes

Suggest you to DM these to ngmodelseurope - the person who handles it is great and very prompt - they will forward these corrections to NG - they did the same for me when I suggested corrections in the Cyprus artworks- which were incorporated into the final models

Very annoying to see more Sichuan Airlines A350's.

Also weird to see that Qantas jet in the Lite version, but otherwise it's kind of a decent release as there's ANA jets.
But why annoying to see Sichuan A350s (different scheme altogether, different regs) and not annoying to see UA 737MAXs (same scheme!!!!!)?!
The B-32G2 is probably the best widebody release of the month, and fits well into the Panda Route series
Those UA MAXs are like fungus now - yes I like the EvoBlue on those people-killer MAXs especially with the bright scimitars, but well, how many of those?!!!

You've got a point on the MAXs, but for me it's pretty tiring to see the same airline and same aircraft with pretty similar liveries, I was hoping for something unique, like an Air China one.

Disappointing list from NG. I expected something interesting at least but nothing interesting and the lites ruin the whole point of purchasing these high quality models. At this point, it’s odd that NG doesn’t know what collectors want. CRP and these forums should be more than enough indication to NG.

They are preparing the moulds for the 747's and the A340's, as well as correcting the 767 cockpit windows (probably). I believe that we will see a lot of releases from the wishlist starting Q1 2025, at least on the existing moulds.

Air China wouldn’t be unique mate… NG’s done it already and as mentioned above, so have many others. The Sichuan A350s are very welcome, it’s an adorable scheme that never gets old, plus these particular livery combinations haven’t been done before.

I know but its really disappointing when they continue to release generally boring sets. They're certainly the best product on the market from a QC and accuracy standpoint and they are the only ones truly innovating in the space. However, they continue to release pretty boring stuff. If NG made some of the recent Phoenix catalogs, they would garner much more demand.

Very true 👍

Possibly the only saving grace of these models is how cheap they are. 60 Cad for a 747-8 is unbelievably cheapView attachment 35692
That is indeed really cheap! Also here in Europe it retails around 35€ which is almost HALF the price of a standard model! And while this really is a good concept that NG has developed, I just hope they don't remove a large portion of the smaller details like the gear doors or sealed windows... Actually, the removal of aerials is not that bad of an idea considering that they sometimes get damaged or fall off which was the case on some of their L1011's.

Like, imagine a student saved up money to buy a standard NG 747 release, only to receive the model with missing antennas...

Oh no😭. Guess that means I can't flip over the model. Do you have a source image to let NG know about the underwing reg and airline titles, I havent been able to find a source image myself for that?
There are pictures of the IL-62M and IL-14 with the CAAK title and reg under the wings. Even modern day Air Koryo planes still have that style. I believe it is mandatory to have them since the beginning by the Dprk's civil aviation authority

I found an image from someone that made an X Plane livery for the Chosonminhang Tu-154 that shows the name and registration under the wing.
