NG Models November 2024 Hints

I also shared the confusion with you regarding the Qantas. I donā€™t think I see any word ā€œLiteā€ in the wish description.

And for the Lite, NG seems to take the path of GeminiStar by releasing nearly the whole fleet of Air India A359.

For my current criteria, it seemed that only the Air Road Cargo will make it in my collection. Itā€™s time to save for the future ones, I hope?

Likewise, for the first time in many months, I'm going in for only one NG release - the 3U B-32G6.
I was the reverse, first time in quite some time (at least 3, 4 or even more since the QF Freight A332) that one falls directly without any further consideration to my collecting category. But firstly I need to recover from last Saturday.

P/s: I just realized that I added an EK A359 and UA B764 but did not do so in first place. Instead they were only purchased after actual model release image are out.

The first NG CAAK TU-154 release is missing the reg and airline title under the wings, which is annoying
Oh nošŸ˜. Guess that means I can't flip over the model. Do you have a source image to let NG know about the underwing reg and airline titles, I havent been able to find a source image myself for that?

Once again many questionable release choices by NG, only further compounded by the fact that the sole wished-for model is a Lite release. Hopefully thatā€™s just a one-off thing and not all commission models get done as Lite releases, or if theyā€™re going to do this, release a regular version alongside itā€¦

Pretty underwhelming set from NG šŸ˜”

Whatā€™s with all those Air India a350?? They were just released
Same goes for the Lufthansa 747 & juneyao 787
Also was the Cathay Pacific a350-900 just recently releasedā€¦
Such a shame the Qantas 787 is ā€œliteā€ nobody wanted that.. really confusing šŸ«¤
The special sticker Air France triple 7 is another catastrophic disaster would have much preferred a -200 rather then 3 special
liveries
Then NG using the fifa World Cup 2022 sticker every Qatar release is crazy itā€™s been two yearsā€¦ time to move on.
The only model Iā€™m interested in is the Hawaiian 787 a lovely livery that fits the 787 well šŸ¤©

so now that I'm on the PC, I can ramble a bit,now that I am done processing the current release set:

1) what I shall pre-order for sure:
- 3U B-32G2 (standard & NOT Ultimate) to add to my NG 3U Pandas (NG's been messing up with the 3U winglets - let's see what they do here)
- HA N781HA - this one's surely going to fly off the shelves
so that makes 2, and not 1, as I mentioned earlier

2) what I am on the fence on:
- X3 D-AMAH - great anniversary scheme, should be popular, PHX as usual got there first and timely so and that one actually looks nice in photos - nonetheless, this fits in the category of 'just because' I kinda like one-offs and specials. X3 (then Hapag-Lloyd) was also the launch operator of the 738 - I have an old GJ version in that lovely cheatline scheme, but would love an NG release on their fab mould - I've supported a CRP wish made for that one. These two can then be great future shelf companions.

3) what I would pick up if it were in a different version:
- AF 77W delivery c/s - with the thick titles and simple tail logo - AF was the type's launch operator, so it'll be nice to have a good representation of that. And while we're at it, I'd like the delivery c/s of the 772ER as well. NG released the TK 77W delivery c/s which was much-needed - hopefully they'll follow suit with AF and others. There's something charming about those late-nineties schemes on the uniquely proportioned 773

whoops long post

Itā€™s an issue it been bugging me out sadly šŸ˜”
yeah it happens often with me as well - you'll need to press enter or the down-arrow key, until the cursor jumps out of the grey box (of the original message) - you can still do so, by editing the comment, and thus fix it if you'd like to

I noticed on AF 777-300ER F-GZNA artwork that the windows configuration is wrong. F-GZNA should have the 4 class config (with 4 windows on La PremiĆØre and a plug on the 5th window to separate first class and business). On the F-GZNA NG artwork they represented the 3 class windows configuration.IMG_7732.jpeg
Also the window after L2 (and R2) should have a plug too. The window configuration is symmetrical on this aircraft.

I really donā€™t know if NG used pictures of the wrong registration or if they think all F-GZNx have 3 class config which is wrong.

However, their F-GSQG, F-GSQH, F-GSQI artwork have correct windows configuration which represent the 4 class config. And F-GZNP has the 3 class configuration and is correctly represented in the artwork.

Here you can see F-GSQG artwork which correctly represent the 4 class configuration

Something else I noticed is the missing wifi domes :(

NG has to fix their F-GZNA windows config and donā€™t forget the wifi domes

More of the same from NG - sigh.

Odd to see them advertise the Qantas 787 as an NGLite release and say it is from the wishlist. I doubt anyone voting wanted an NGLite version.
Very annoying to see more Sichuan Airlines A350's.

Also weird to see that Qantas jet in the Lite version, but otherwise it's kind of a decent release as there's ANA jets.
