IND retro airport project

Work is continuing on the parking garage. All of the gray and white for the exterior has been completed, and I'm in the process of applying the black between the different levels. I've also test-fitted the sheets for the parking spaces on the 5th level:

I'll post more as I finish up the garage.

I'm happy to report that work on this project is finally continuing after a long delay...I'm planning on making this my winter project. Hopefully, It will be complete or nearly complete by March or April 2026. The main terminal is complete, as well as A B C & D concourses. All that remains is the parking garage, the skybridges connecting the terminal to the garage. and the payment plaza as you leave the lot. He are are some current photos. As of now, all of the gray and white areas of the garage are completely painted. I need to repaint the concrete on the entrance and exit spirals to more closely match the color of the printed top deck. The deck has also been completed and test fitted. There is still quite a bit to finish up on the garage, primarily the black between the levels to simulate the open areas.

How were the ground markings for the gate area decided upon with Layover? Were there any references you used or just something simple to get the job done? The terminals look great!

Congrats @Purpleplane and @IndyJets 🥳
Finding period-appropriate GSE has been a major challenge so far. We are continuing to keep our eyes out for it. It appears that 3D printing is going to be the best bet, but obtaining sufficient reference material to create a model design from is not easy.

Lovely classic birds! The aircraft types, the liveries, the airlines... pure quality from the past. Congratulations for this great project!

Try talking to some of these current brands doing 3D Printed GSE... AvGeek Models, for example. Maybe they can help you with some classic style GSE
