I was just seeing your "action" photos over at DA.C! Glad to see you enjoying your 1:400 airport! You have been working very hard for a long time on this project, so it is nice to see it paying off, even if there still is a lot of work left to finish it. This kind of massive 1:400 airport projects are almost never-ending.

Thank you so much. I'm getting closer to the finish line. All I have left are the support columns, the decals on Concourse C, the main terminal, all of the jetways, and finally the parking garage. I'll be getting back to work on concourse C this week. I do have one more round of action photos in store for later today...it'll be from 1978.

We'll start with concourse A:
Gate A2. TWA 727-231 N64323 going out at 0704 flight 426 to CMH.
Gate A4. TWA 727-31 N833TW flight 507 going out to MCI at 0900.
Gate A6.
TWA L-1011 N41012 going out at 0720 flight 223 to STL.

Eastern DC-9-31 N8988E going out to ATL at 0725 flight 251.

Ozark DC-9-31 N988Z flight 537 departing to PIA at 0715.

American 707-323B N8436..will be towed to gate B1 after flight 400 departs for CVG, will be departing at 0805 flight 159 to DFW.

Delta 727-232A N458DA arrived from FWA at 0646 flight 245, continuing on to ATL at 0712.
Concourse D.
Gate D2
Allegheny BAC 1-11 N1130J departing to ORD at 0655 flight 487.
Gate D6
Allegheny DC-9-31 N952VJ departing to CLE at 0650 flight 136.

Back to working on the model... decal work is complete on concourse C sections 1 & 3 (the connecting corridors)
As usual, I have some photos.
Section C1..connects the main terminal to the concourse.

Working now on section 2, the departure lounge area for gates C1, C2, C3, and C4.
We'll start with the south side looking north...lower level decals are installed, and painting has started on the upper level windows.. No worries, everything will be touched up and will look much better than it appears here.
North side looking south. Both levels will have painted windows....again everything will be touched up and will appear much better than it does now.

Work continues on concourse C, lower level decals are finished on section 4, painting on the upper level windows has started...just needs touching up, and it will be completed.
Section C4, area of gates C5 & C6.

Once this concourse is complete, next up will be the decals for the jetways.

Other than some minor touch ups, concourse C is complete

To wrap up 2023, concourse C is now finished. Just applied the skylight decals on section 2, and they fit perfectly. Great design work by my son Bruce @IndyJets.

Work is continuing on the main terminal...sections 4, 5, and 6 have been glued together, and window decal work is about halfway completed
I have one photo so far.
This is section 6 and part of section 5.
All that's left are the other half of section 5 and then section 4...then the awnings for the baggage area can be installed.
Will post more when this section is done.
