NG Models Rewards Program

the pictures are taken from a chinese retalier website wingsworld.cn
the announcement can be found here: https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/WQEGBdaQj9yvRf3GSe2fQg (NG official account)
all of these are using a made-to-order system currently only in China and collectors need to register their interests through retailers only. not sure if outside could make purchase as well (at least also not in SG since i havnt heard anything from my local retailer)
Ouch okay
This is sad
There's at least 2 of the CZs I'd pick up

On another note
I'd have thought the CRP is where special releases are announced and you book your copy
These models should have been on the CRP
That ways they'll get an exact number of orders plus it'll be available globally

EDIT: another curious thing is - the person managing the 2 new NG accounts is based in Europe - and they're disconnected from the central functioning it appears

NG keeps finding new ways to grind my gears, why make that gaudy special and not the original?? Just a bloody normal 77W/333/748, it ain't rocket science.
That's classic NG. They'll probably release the SkyTeam livery as well before we see any chance of seeing the normal livery.

I personally think special liveries are great and am very glad to see them finally making these beautiful birds (also since I only collect special liveries at bulk, standard livery is capped at one per airline)

I also feel they've done fairly a good amount of standard liveries in each release, not percentage-wise but on absolute number it's def more than Gemini/JC

Wow JC Insta and FB was controlled by someone in Canada and now we have NG Insta controlled by some one in Europe

After two and a half months my CRP model has arrived.

Would I recommend this program to other collectors? Absolutely, but I advise packing your patience. It will be pretty long wait times (most of it was waiting for NG's timeframe to send out the CRP models) but once it gets moving it only takes a couple weeks as I originally projected.

My retailer (DGPilot) isn't one of those retailers that removes the cards thankfully.

Beautiful model! I am hoping the yellow version is released. I don't think any manufacturer has done this yet.

I can’t even be bothered with it anymore - put my email address in and all I get is “server error!”. It’s worked all the other times I’ve entered my details so I’ve no clue

It only works on mobile unfortunately...

I exchanged for the Australia Asia 747SP, I suspected that it would show up in the CRP eventually so I didn't buy it, thankfully the gamble paid off!

This in a nutshell is the issue with the CRP. They are putting up way too many models and often quite recent ones. If you buy enough then you will probably think exactly what you did. Just wait and it'll be in the CRP.

I don't understand NG at all. How they can weather this much giveaway. But for all my moaning I just ordered 5 models through the CRP so I guess I should shutup!

Yeah... Considering the enormous amounts of similar or repeat releases there is no way all of them will sell. Therefore it's pretty safe to just wait until it's available through the CRP. I also wonder how on earth they can afford to give them away, surely it's not sustainable in the long term?

I was wondering this myself, while I was going through the mall, I saw the Saudia L-1011 I got myself recently which is only a 7 month old release. Then again, as you said "if you buy enough" so given how those models cost like 100 points for a widebody, which is like what 8 cards from 8 different models(Near 500CAD/360USD worth of product). At that point, I guess it'd be deserved to get a free model that's recent on the consumer side. On NG's side, I think the models one would have to buy to obtain the points would theoretically end up causing NG to at least break even with product that didn't sell as well? If anyone knows about NG's profit margin with these models, I'd love to know for the sake of math lol.

Anyways what did everyone get from the exchange mall so far? I myself had a toss up between the Taban 757 and the Air Europe "Landor Hybrid" 757 and ended up choosing the latter.

Does anyone know if these older models come with CRP cards if done through the exchange mall? I've been told they have but I can't help but be skeptical about that.
