NG Models - September 9, 2024, 19:55

Thirty years of sailing through wind and rain together,

Not only have we flown with you,

But we have also made history together.

B-2445,

Thank you for being with us!

(The above text is from the banner at the farewell ceremony for Air China B-2445)

Steps for the Customized B-2445 Version (1:400) Service:

  • September: Reservation. You can immediately visit the official website's reservation center to obtain a reservation code. During this period, the new 747-400 model will be released. A successful reservation will consume 1 point.
  • October: Registration. Register with the reservation code at designated partner stores (details for store registration will be announced separately). Delivery services will be provided by the partner stores, with a service fee and shipping costs (specific fees to be announced later).
  • November: Delivery. Once the product is completed, it will be shipped to the stores for delivery.
The release is a collectible edition, offering premium packaging, a new alloy stand, a customized certificate, and an electronic reservation list for commemoration. The custom package is rich in content!

Let us create history together, like B-2445, and enjoy an extraordinary experience!

Personally, i'd wait and see how their new 744 mould looks before making the reservation.
plus, there are two more 744 in Air China fleet, B-2447 and B-2472. so it's not the last queen in CA fleet.
Is this a civilian version? or the former VIP/Presidential one?

EDIT: Just doing some looking around - the aircraft was retd / wfu on Sep 06 and stored at CTU. Thus the 'fanfare'. Former (on stand-by) VIP aircraft.
