Very disappointing... is there a reason why there's licensing issues? Not just those
Sichuan and Singapore 350s
Air china 319neo
Hainan 321neo
and some more

The Hainan has been available through the exchange system. So would be weird to be suddenly gone. Not just those

Without the A350, this set gets even worse… I was hoping NG was taking this time to add extra models, but I am mistaken.Someone I know shared a list of releases NG posted on Rednote today. It’s pretty much in line with the hints list minus the BA A35Ks and the Singapore A350.

Yeah, the fact that they're gone is a little concerning. They might quietly put them in this set anyway, so we'll wait and see.Without the A350, this set gets even worse… I was hoping NG was taking this time to add extra models, but I am mistaken.
Well, at least my Wallet is safe this month.Yeah, the fact that they're gone is a little concerning. They might quietly put them in this set anyway, so we'll wait and see.
Right let's hope so - they'd done the same with the CXs initially - so must be licensing issues - and thus perhaps the pause in posting on their 'official' website.Yeah, the fact that they're gone is a little concerning. They might quietly put them in this set anyway, so we'll wait and see.
I probably am the only one with this question, but what is ARD?I have just received a newsletter from ARD via email announcing these Nov releases - no mention of the BA or Singapore A350s, just the models JJ sent above. They might add them in later on, but they might just as likely be delayed.
Aviation Retail Direct - a physical store in the UK.I probably am the only one with this question, but what is ARD?
Delayed models still show up on the website, just with a “delayed” sticker. Guess they pulled a Euroatlantic and canned these two.I have just received a newsletter from ARD via email announcing these Nov releases - no mention of the BA or Singapore A350s, just the models JJ sent above. The redemption on SPK recently got an update that the label was made.Delayed models still show up on the website, just with a “delayed” sticker. Guess they pulled a Euroatlantic and canned these two.

Not all of them, at least when you consider NG's home market. China Eastern's Buzz Lightyear/Shanghai Disneyland A330 has been highly sought after by Chinese collectors ever since the Phoenix & JC releases were sold out almost immediately after being released in 2018. Hainan's newly delivered A321neos has been requested by a good number of collectors there too. BA's A35Ks will probably be released discreetly and under the same fashion as the Cathay & Emirates A350s.Another garbage release, not unexpected anymore tho.
I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with them making Chinese models, its obviously the largest market of collectors out there. But I am so sick and tired of the endless repetition and predictability. Every release is chock-full of Chinese special liveries, and other aircraft from mostly the same East Asian carriers, as well as duplicates of the same aircraft type from the same carriers to try an incentivize collectors to buy multiple of the same aircraft. The variety from around the world that they were so good at incorporating years ago is just gone. Every release now is just a bunch of Chinese special liveries, a few duplicate aircraft types from the same carrier, a couple random narrow bodies from the U.S., and rarely Europe (which are often just special liveries), and then some other toss ins from EVA, Asiana or Korean Air. Its more predictable than Gemini Jets, who basically have the same template for every release and its especially frustrating because NG has some of the best moulds out there, and they have shown in the past that they can create a super deep variety of models. Not all of them, at least when you consider NG's home market. Nevertheless, this month's release isn't exciting overall.
Yes, the slippery slope that's been going on at NG is very concerning. They rarely release any new airlines these days. The breadth of releases seen a few years ago, both contemporary and classic, is just gone now. They even had some solid African and South American releases (Ethiopian 757, South African 747SP, BoA A330, just to name a few) but nowadays they hardly touch those continents at all. Even for the Chinese releases, there are so many smaller airlines with beautiful or interesting standard liveries that collectors have been asking for but they've pretty much ignored them. I guess this simply comes down to business since diversity of the releases doesn't necessarily equate to profits.I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with them making Chinese models, its obviously the largest market of collectors out there.
