NG Models November 2025 Release Hints

My interest in their new releases has significantly waned this year. The only thing I’m eyeing now is the CRP stuff so I can rack up points and make wishes, but I’m forced to buy older releases because, well, not much from NG interests me in 2025 😅
The only NG I’ve picked up this year was the United 757. Back when NG released consistent gems for us American collectors…

We all knew from the hints what was planned for this month, so there's no surprises in terms of the releases we were expecting to see.

What is surprising is the absence of certain models (BA & SQ) from the hints to announcements - and the long time it took to make those final announcements

We all know what may have happened - licensing amongst other things very clearly - putting 2 and 2 together, this may explain why NG hasn't released 'current BA' in quite a while (especially after the ARDxBA formal collab announcement), besides not releasing SQ in many years. Note that, NG has visibly become wary of licensing issues mostly after its massive publicly announced expansion efforts a couple of years ago. Prior to that, there was only the TAP L-1011 issue.

Very clearly, NG's expansion and visible massive presence means its less willing to be individualistic or guerilla-like, which smaller and less visible brands like Av400 & HX can still manage to be.

This is my speculation for the absence of the two airlines.

Rest, this release is China heavy - but definitely NOT boring. If they don't meet your criteria, that doesn't make the set boring by default.
Just trying to rationalise here

These are much wanted models by many collectors - and the pre-announcement CRP exchange saw around 70pc redemption when I checked around halfway through its duration - which ratifies the popularity of the release choices.

There's also few models here which will see release for the first time - and some which will see a modern re-release.

Let's hope NG 'quietly' releases the BA & SQs - like they did with the EK and early set of CXs.
If we don't see that, then we can presume that the matter is pretty serious and beyond their current control.

I think at least a few of those might be approved wishes - if so that gets a pass from me. The Starlux sounded like one and perhaps that Toy Story special.

So, just FYI - there's an easy way to know which of these releases are 'approved' CRP wishes - the red box with the heart indicates this.

This does not imply though, that a release without this doesn't have a CRP wish - it may have one, just that it's not been updated to 'approved' on the website - like I was illustrating in #104

Also, Wish numbers and Reservation numbers will be different - approved Wishes automatically convert to a Reservation - thus you will always see Reservation numbers are higher for obvious reasons - as you can continue to make a Reservation after announcements until release

They have still released many airlines recently who are known to crack down on 'licensing'. Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, Emirates etc.

What I am interested to see if the China Eastern Disney (Toy Story) scheme is licensed or not. Because we all know how Disney are when it comes to this sort of thing...
