Haven’t we already got dozens of these Sichuan? Can’t they just release the remaining livery variations after the requested models?Assuming these hints are only from 'Future' - I see at least a few that will align with my criteria
- Air China A319neo
- Sichuan A359
- Singapore A359ULR
- BA A35K
- Starlux A35K
Must be determined by their sales analytics as well as projectionsWhat’s the relation between N and tarifs??? Do they really think only Americans collect these N regs![]()
That may be but think about it in reverse. MU and CZ fly to the US and Europe, but the majority of their sales are still in China. It'll be the same for DL and UA. Yes some will sell abroad - but not 500 as easily as 500 B-regs in China so it's a combo of sales likelihood and other priorities. Makes sense to delay Ns until the tariffs are resolved - againAre all these chinese collectors really only interested in B regs? A lot of european and american airlines fly to PVG and PEK (and HKG)
Brother, read the thread - NG announces 'Futures' on their website - so these are definitely from there - and thus I'm just matching the numbers.Haven’t we already got dozens of these Sichuan? Can’t they just release the remaining livery variations after the requested models
Yes but that may be because the US is an as large market as Europe (if not larger)? There are still a lot of requests for Alaska, Southwest (especially since they updated the colors), etc. on their website. They still release a lot of N regs in 1/200 and they sell very well. This hasn’t stoped them from releasing Hawaiian last month?Must be determined by their sales analytics as well as projections
There's no point releasing US domestic carriers or narrowbodies if their core market is unavailable
I have seen a lot of UAL and AAL requests tho? Also amongst N-reg mainline carriers , frankly only Delta really has universal appeal.

Nope. They're not bothered about the politics of it for sure, and that pretty clear - they run a business, that's all - and neither are most or a majority of manufacturers or even collectors bothered by the politics - or Geminijets would have gone out of business long ago, amidst all the decades-long anti-China propaganda, and AC wouldn't have released Arab / Islamic subjects for instance.Maybe its possible that NG feels pressured to do less business with American retailers due to the political situation? Would mean that less N regs is also a matter of politics and not totally economics.

After LH has retired themA340's are coming...
I'd guess early next year.... Or after the CN new year next year? Maybe an announcement next month or in December for a January February release?Singapore A350-900 and BA A350-1000 for me, I wonder when those A340's are coming...
I imagine the lack of Ns is a direct response to the potential of the 130% tariffs from Trump kicking in soon. I know several of the manufacturers are very worried about it. Sensible to avoid Ns with the uncertainty I guess
LH won't be retiring them until after 2027After LH has retired them
