Yu ModeL China Southern Cargo A300F Release Out Now

The latest Yu ModeL release is out featuring a China Southern Cargo A300-600F. It uses the Aeroclassics mould, which is easily the best A300 in 400 svcale, but has it upgraded with new tyres and hubs. They look good, although I admit I was ok with the earlier ones, however I'm less impressed with the cheatline at the nose, which appears to curve downwards ahead of the cockpit when it should be straight.

Man, this model looks nice! I do like the box art. So what exactly is You Models and how long have they been around?
It is Yu ModeL with odd capitalisation.

I have written about them quite a bit and own their first 4 releases. Check this category at my site:

They've been about since mid-2020. The owner mainly has an interest in Soviet jets and China specials. So far they've used Aeroclassics moulds (Tu-154, IL-18, IL-76) for the first 5 releases but they will be using the HYJLwings A321 and JC Wings IL-86, Hercules and MD-80 soon.

Thanks, YesterAirlines,

The company seems to be interesting. From what it looks like they do not have their own moulds, but uses other company's moulds for their releases. Since the models Tu ModeLs (very weird spelling) makes don't fit my criteria, I won't be getting any.

This is a nice plane! Does the nose gear look different to you guys/y'all? (feel free to let me know which one is preferred XD)

It's not uncommon for a lot of smaller brands in 1/400 to outsource the actual manufacturing to larger brands. (Miniature Models, El Aviador, Yu Models etc)

Yes Yu have got Aeroclassics to upgrade all the tyres with tyrehubs - like the 767s. I didn't have a major issue with the non-hubbed tyres on the A300. I have to admit I'm not 100% sold on it here.

I agree, not the worst, but not the best. Still nice to see them changing the flow, perhaps for the better with how bad the tires falling off on AC models is.

Did they ever release their IL-86? Or is that yet to come?

That is still coming. Should be the next model released by them. Checking Taobao it looks like the first image is just out. See my other thread on the topic here:
