Love the South African 747-300, despite these poor-looking JT9Ds and that flying nose gear 🧐

Christmas has come early at Yesterday's Airlines as my friend Mike Cage very generously sent me this beautiful custom British World 757-200 he made using an NG Models donor. BWA was beginning to modernise its fleet in 2001, having moved away from its trusty One-Elevens. G-OBWS was the only 757 they operated. Delivered in May 2001 the airline collapsed following the 9/11 attacks.

panda no longer owns this mould? didn't they develop it themselves
Apparently not. It was co-commissioned if I understood it correctly - and the partner agency bought it over.
Though I've been conveyed that Panda is now going to make their own mould.

All of the above info is from a retailer who's in touch with Panda, so yeah it'll be legit.

I haven't heard anything like this. Are you really sure - it doesn't sound like it is legit to me

Big Black Friday haul~~ (with 4 more models on the way). There were so many models I wanted to buy on that day, but I would be broke before I could get all of them😅

A few colourful recent additions.

BOB Models Xiamen Air 737-800 B-1913
Cartoon themed liveries aren't always my favourite and I admit to having a dislike of Minions, but that didn't stop me getting this one.

Phoenix Air Namibia 767-300 V5-NMB
This 767s looks fabulous. It was the only 767 operated by the Namibian flag carrier, being leased from AWAS between March 1998 and April 1999. Very impressive and exactly the sort of release that Phoenix have excelled at recently.

That Air Namibia 767 is so gorgeous, so colorful... I've added it to my wishlist
Model indeed looks wonderful. Just a little criticism: the titles should be bolder than that. But it's something minor, to be honest.

Phoenix is the leader when it comes to great releases. The amount of good choices they did in 2024 was amazing. Too bad some of their moulds aren't nice. At least their 767 is decent IMO and I'm looking forward to see some more.

Would love to see:
Varig (Landor 1996)
Martinair (1990s colors, maybe with "Holland" titles)
Air Europe Italy (1990s colors)

Two classic arrivals. Went for the AC A300 as otherwise I would risk missing out on both Yu Models and AC. One wing is bent a little unfortunately, as some others posted about before. Never knew the stabilizers of the DC-4 were made of plastic, probably for balancing reasons.

Yeah its great, but now it seems like the fuselage is plastic aswell as it sounds and feels different compared to other small AC models.
