Shanghai Airplane Model Exhibition News - New Moulds & Releases

The Shanghai Airplane Model Exhibition is on at the moment and I've been able to get hold of some images from it. With attendance by HX Models, C Models, Yu ModeL and Patriot Models there's plenty to like. New models and new moulds - the latter from HX Models with another A380, plus flaps down and interactive versions of the MD-11! This also gives an opportunity to cover off the Patriot 747s and the latest at Yu. Hopefully this'll keep you updated on goings on in 400 scale in China:

The Shanghai Airplane Model Exhibition and Sales Fair is underway in China running across August 16/17th at the Gubeiwan Hotel. I wish I was there, but sadly it's a bit far to go! Several of the new Chinese brands have tables present - including C Model,

An Emirates 737-300! C Models releasing this on the nice Panda mould is a wonderful surprise, I thought Gemini would get to this first, considering the recent Emirates A300 and A310 they released. Absolutely WILL pick this up whenever it comes out.

IL-76 in 200 scale seems very cool. Also, is that CAAC C-46 in 1:400? Because in that case they added an antenna on top.

Was not thrilled for more MD11 when we direly need DC10 - but with the flaps down and interactive versions you got me Can’t wait to add one to my collection. Curious what liveries we will get first and most importantly who will carry them.

How I wish we could also see someone bringing more IL-76s to 1:400 scale.
This model was forgotten by the manufacturers... we don't have many releases, the moulds are old and models are rare and expensive.

An AN-22 has been long overdue
Glad this is being made - though the wings look like they need some more work?!
Presumably the mould belongs to HX - like the 741?
A Tu-114 is now needed at the table - who's listening?!

I haven't seen the 747s available for order even on Taobao

Panda announced the Air China and China Southern C919s last week

at the lower end of 400 scale, jet model seems to be creating their own mould as well. (they currently have A300 and MDs)

These guys are Jet Hut renamed so they have access to all the moulds used for the JAL Collection.

There's a variety of Chinese 777-300ERs available on Taobao already along with the Saabs, MD-11s and MD-90s. I hadn't seen the A300s before though but a quick search of Taobao and there they are. They've all magically appeared in MADb

HX/SQ also goes by the name DPM, and their IG is @diecastplanemaster. They're allegedly a brand created by JC's old factory, hence the near-identical 1:200 moulds. It appears they have a 1:400 A380 and 744 in the works.
