Knowing NG, They would only use it like 3 times per release.
Three is still better than none! Although I would prefer it if was something more like 6-7.Knowing NG, They would only use it like 3 times per release.
NG usually does around 4 per widebody each month, so something along the lines of 1 popular/iconic scheme and 3 more niche ones would be great. Wouldn't want to run through the in-demand ones too fast.Three is still better than none! Although I would prefer it if was something more like 6-7.
I think that's the first time anyone said thatI would be more interested in 737 classics and a new 727 mold.
Indeed, there are enough 737s in 1:400 for Christ's sake. Couldn't care less about those.I think that's the first time anyone said that
Panda's 737 classics are excellent, and the GJ 737-500 is pretty good. I would love a definitive new 727 mould, the current situation is very messy. Unfortunately, the only brand that would put a new 727 to good use would be Aeroclassics, and I would be genuinely surprised if AC ever made a new mould.I would be more interested in 737 classics and a new 727 mold.
At least we'll see JC/GJ's -400 mould finally get some good usage! No doubt in direct response to all the recent Phoenix announcements and corresponding chatter across the forums and social media. I think we can also now confidently expect a rush of Gemini Jets releases in the run in.
I hope so. If GJ or JC make a Qantas/Ansett 744 my already crippled wallet will simply curl up and die.At least we'll see JC/GJ's -400 mould finally get some good usage!
I actually forgot about the Panda ones.Panda's 737 classics are excellent, and the GJ 737-500 is pretty good. I would love a definitive new 727 mould, the current situation is very messy. IndyJets is thinking 737-200's I'm pretty sure. And I would welcome a new excellent 727 mould anytime, either 100 or 200.Indeed, there are enough 737s in 1:400 for Christ's sake. Couldn't care less about those.
I'd like to strongly disagree. The v.tail profile on Panda's 737-3/4/500 is so off that I have it on my blacklist.Panda's 737 classics are excellent
I personally don't mind the issues, but to each their own. I won't deny that almost all the classic Boeing jets need a new mould, and the 727/707s are a must.I'd like to strongly disagree. The v.tail profile on Panda's 737-3/4/500 is so off that I have it on my blacklist.
A good 727-100/200 would be a close 2nd behind the 747Classics on my most wanted list, followed by a good 707-120 and -320/420.
Absolutely would not mind a good set of United Saul Bass or Continental if NG comes up with those.IndyJets is thinking 737-200's I'm pretty sure. And I would welcome a new excellent 727 mould anytime, either 100 or 200.
That, and those of us who wouldn't have been satisfied with the BigBirds anyway. They were good for their era, but honestly aren't up to today's standards. This is one NG announcement I’m very much excited about. Imagine all the possibilities that open up, would be great for those who want one but can’t find the BigBirds which are super rare…
Don't forget Delta! In light of the recent AC debacle...Absolutely would not mind a good set of United Saul Bass or Continental if NG comes up with those.
