NG Model April 2023 1:400 Release "Hints"

for the qantas 747s. I have a feeling that they could be 747-8s wearing one of the indigenous liveries to show off the mould like they did with the cathay 777-300er in the old old livery 93488_1620463459.jpg54794_1336264210.jpg

You sure the 747 is an SP? The hints posted by NG don't specify the variant.

I wish! Although, if they are making a fantasy Australian 748, I'd rather have one in the 1970s livery.
that would be another one that would be neat, but i chose the indigenous ones because of how iconic they are, plus it would be a great way to shoe off their printing quality

For 737 I’m Guessing N93XXX is N936AK Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX9 San Francisco Giants livery

I was thinking a fantasy 748 for the VH. NG has a track record of specifying 747SP, but that's curiously not the case this month.

Wallet's safe again this month, you'd think KE was an LCC with the number of 737s NG's pumping out. This many releases without a single widebody is... odd.
I sense they might be trying to get through all the KE narrowbodies before the widebodies, for some reason. NG is strange sometimes

I certainly hope that's the case, maybe they'll start with the 748. Preferably as the second~third release for that mould.

I expect the Apex Logistics/Atlas Air final 747, Lufthansa (old and/or new livery), and Korean Air to be among the first handful of 747-8 releases

Yep, NG's teased N863GT twice now. Definitely expect that to be the first-8F release. And Lufty old livery as the first -8i would make bank.

Several Inter wing hints for me this month. Possibly going bankrupt after this but I am specially looking forward to those LAN A318s!!

BA 777's, Vietnam, ANA and Scoot 787's for me. Hopefully there won't be many delays to these ones....

* I hope they get the title right this time for 787 VN-Axxx - a VN 789 (they did the standard livery and 1st 787 Bamboo so highly unlikely that they released the only 789 left in Bamboo fleet). The -10 they did is a sore in my eyes.
* 787 F-Oxxx can be Air Austral B788. I would be surprised if it would be the third Tahiti.
* 777 RA-73xxx is an interesting choice given current circumstances. I guess it would be Aeroflot 77W (PHX has released standard scheme SU 77W like 3 or 4 times - those sells good). But other livery like Rossiya would be superb (the livery is amazing in detail). Or could be one of those less interesting livery Nordwind or RedWings.
* 777 N77*** one is an evoBlue would be my instant purchase.
* 747 VH- I had thought on NG doing the fantasy. Same scheme they released on the SP accompanying with polished belly would be one of the more interesting fantasy.

NG has been making a big and diverse set lately, everytime I read the hints I am scared whether I need to get sth.

For that russian 777 hint, something tells me that it isnt areoflot and could be either a nordwind or a rossyia 777 as they also have matching registrations. Including the non er 777-300 that Rosyia has. That would be neat to see being that the rolls royce engines have just come out last month and would be neat to see the first non er 777-300 from NG 66561_1671587997.jpg613754_1678362134.jpg

The reason I don't want NG to make the Aboriginal liveries is because they are so iconic! I'm worried that if they make a fantasy Wunala or Nalanji Dreaming on a -8 it might stop them from making a true-to-life VH-EBU, OJB or OEJ! And because of the complex livery, it would require significant adaptation to work on a -8. Either of these liveries would not be easy to change to fit the different proportions of the -8. Which is why I think if the 747 hint is a -8, it will be in the 1970s livery.

The only other thing i can think is that they do a concept of what if qantas got 747-8s and made a fantasy silver roo 747-8 (AKA the current livery with the kangaroo missing its arms)

I expect the Apex Logistics/Atlas Air final 747, Lufthansa (old and/or new livery), and Korean Air to be among the first handful of 747-8 releases
As much as I'm excited to see those, I hope they start with something less important than the two of the last ever 747s. I doubt NG will fix all the issues before the first release.
