NG Model 1:400 February 2026 Release Hints

Don't get me wrong I'm all for complaining just sometimes it is a little kneejerk. Sometimes it is spot on though. I agree the cockpit on the PAL looks low and NG have been making more mistakes recently.
So NG changed the CX A330 front section side view photos on Rednote
The reactions may seem knee jerk - but it did make them realise something, albeit belatedly.
On Rednote, folks are quite direct and critical - it's an intriguing landscape so different from IG. People are pretty unforgiving.

The CZ cockpit is high as well - but within acceptable limits suitably obscured and overwhelmed by that livery. Unlike how bad it was on that Korean duo. Folks have been really critical of NG on that aspect too

Can we see the new side view photos here?

And also reminds me of the fantasy Delta A35K. Awfully high windows too

Oh my... This is really bad.

Yes indeed. Looks like occasionally and only for some models, NG is screwing the A350’s cockpit glazing.

I noticed right away on my 9V-SGA, Singapore airlines A359ULR. The cockpit was printed too low. That compared to the latest Virgin Atlantic A35K releases and the JAL A359, is too slow and that was disappointing because the model is otherwise is perfect.
I would commend NG for placing the cockpit windows consistently on those other models. But I strongly recommend they check this going forward. They look like a totally different aircraft nose.
Hopefully the next set of SIA A350s does not have this issue.

They should also stay consistent on an accurate shape

NG had the best A330. Shape of nose, cockpit windows and very accurate looking engines. So why fix what’s not broken? In other words, why change something to make it look inaccurate? I can never understand this!!

Every month you guys fret over the minutest details in the NG photos, and make some OTT comments, only to realise that a) mostly the models look fine and b) mostly they look better than the competition even if there are issues. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
This is true but just because it's better than the competition doesn't mean it can't be better. I don't look at my models and say I like it because it's better than some other offering by some other company. Most of these competitor moulds are miles behind (except for Panda/Av400 in which case the NG isn't even always at the very top) and that's not a high bar. I just check if it actually looks as close to the real thing as it gets -- and NG is capable of doing that. You can call me nitpicky and I fully understand if some of you don't mind these errors but it still is frustrating most of these are things they've gotten right before. If it ain't broken don't fix it.

💯💯💯. Totally with you on this and have said the same myself before. Funny how no one seems to notice when we lavish NG in praise for a job well done! Only when we’re critical of something we know they’re capable of doing better!
