Oh I would agree, seems like there’s a race for who gets to post a thread about said releases (e.g. GJ December release predictions or the multiple GJ future releases discussions). I don’t know how to combat that as this forum is still meant to freely discuss models, however there should be some form of organization if you will.

Maybe we can choose someone to be the one who posts that stuff. Would reduce the amount of repetitive threads and would make someone feel special!

At this point I would suspect MAF will more likely close rather than get new mods and do something. As with DiMA (which is managed in terms of the db at least) these sites cost money to run and the good will of the people paying the bills to exist.

I wouldn't poke the bear so to speak on either or they may well disappear. Waffle has threatened to close DiMA for example when people annoy him.
