Just an update, we are finally starting on painting the terminal....we're starting with the administration building...it's the 6 story building between the C and D concourses.... will post some photos as we go.

As mentioned, work has begun on the IND retro terminal. We are currently working on the administration building, which was between C & D concourses...the building not only housed offices for the airport, but also USAir had a reservations center on the 5th floor.
First photo shows the prep of the administration building, last 2 show the building after painting. Will post more photos as we progress.

More progress being made. The land side is now painted. We did a test fit just to see how it looks:

Thank you. We took a delay mainly because I wasn't happy with the way the ground foils turned out, so we had Layover Layouts make a 6 ft X 6 ft seamless mat for the airport. I'll post some photos soon.

I’m familiar with the trial and error process. The results don’t have to be perfect, but you need to be satisfied.

I'll probably get it out next week. Planning to do some more painting on the terminal, then I'll get the mat out and test fit to see how it all looks.

Painting is nearly complete on concourse A, so I thought I would share a couple of photos,
This is from the west side (Eastern and Ozark gates) looking east:
This is from the east side (TWA gates) looking west.
All that's left are some minor touch-ups, then it will be ready for the window and door decals, and then finally the jetways. I will probably tackle those tasks after the other 3 concourses are finished. On to concourse B next.

Concourse B looking towards the east. Shown are gates B1 and B2, (these were originally gates 20 and 22 respectively, American used these gates for the entire duration of this concourse:
From the east side looking west:
Shown left to right, are B6, B5 and B4 These were orignally gates 21, 23, and 25 respectively. Delta used these gates for the duration of this concourse, along with B3 (24), just around the corner. America West also used gate B3 for a short time before moving to concourse C.
All that remains to be done are the support columns on the connector between the terminal and concourse, the window decals, and of course, the jetways.
Those steps will be done later when all 4 concourses are completed.
Now we can move on to concourse C
