Maybe the quality isn’t too fine, maybe the nose gear isn’t too tall, but honestly who cares? Personally as long as the model isn’t broken or the problems are not noticeable to the untrained eye, it’s fine. If AEROCLASSICS released a model I wanted, I would still buy it, even with the lower quality and detail. Like I said, it’s the release choice that matters, and as long as the quality is fine enough, it’s a great release because of that choice. Sure, maybe the “America First” 789 from NG is high quality, but because it’s a terrible release choice, it’s a bad release.
I care? Clearly others care too. Seeing a nose high CRJ made me not want to buy it (I didn’t). I should have returned that god awful United E175. I have a very untrained eye and some criticisms here I don’t care as much about, but something like E175 engines tilted towards the skies just LOOKS bad. It doesn’t look like the plane at all. Those Gemini MD80 nose section looks so off I havent bought any yet. I refuse to buy the their 737s now because they are so bad looking at angles. At the end of the day you’re buying a highly detailed licensed jet, Paying a premium. I’d hope they look like the darned things you know?
