Gemini Jets October Release Photos

Exciting times abound as we have the October release photos from Gemini Jets!

Main highlight for me is the Braniff Electra. Another photo I saw showed a polished belly which would be accurate. Personally, I like both Deltas, the American, and the United releases. The rest look pretty good in their own right. Anyone else getting some models from this release?

Epic set from GeminiJets! I will also be picking up the Braniff along with the American and United. The Delta A321Neo came out surprising really nice! Hope to see Gemini continue on this to finish out 2022 strong!

Great set of models from GJ, evo blue looks really nice on the 753.

It's always almost impossible to tell if the models are really any good when they use that photo angle - which hides multiple sins! However you'd have to be bonkers to buy that A321neo when there are multiple better Delta NEOs available. The 757s look decent.

I'd like to see the Electra from another angle before I make a judgement.

These new releases looks fantastic as per usual from an angle that is hard to tell a whole lot and the significant amount of saturation used on the images! Some notes is that the Airbuses look to have the typical oversized engines and odd nose cone. The UA 753, DL 753, and KLM 744 Interactive look like standouts.

It's always almost impossible to tell if the models are really any good when they use that photo angle - which hides multiple sins! However you'd have to be bonkers to buy that A321neo when there are multiple better Delta NEOs available. The 757s look decent.

Usually so. However first impressions from these photos give off a more positive vibe. Then again photos are not the most accurate to judge a model properly; you need to get it yourself in order it make proper judgment.

The Delta NEO actually isn’t too bad (first photo); it still has some of the typical flaws the GJ NEO is known for but it has marginally improved with later releases. My jetBlue Streamers wasn’t all that bad.

Here’s another angle of the Electra (second photo). It may still have the nose-down attitude due to the landing gear, but I do plan on getting this so I’ll take my own photos when I receive mine.

I am one of the people crazy enough to buy the GJ DL A321N. I am buying it along side there NG and Panda versions and will do a comparison between all three. As I am a big modern DL fan I and am trying to get every modern DL release, even if it is garbage. As I now work for a United regional operator UAL models will be added to my collection like that very fine looking 753!

Here’s another angle of the Electra (second photo). It may still have the nose-down attitude due to the landing gear, but I do plan on getting this so I’ll take my own photos when I receive mine.

Thanks for that extra shot. It actually does look quite decent - it'll be interesting to hear whether it is a tail-sitter. This mould is well known for that.

Overall the end product looks good though. I do think they could make the cockpit windows taller and the BRANIFF titles under the cockpit are a bit squashed too. The mould is good, with the landing gear the biggest issue. The maingear doors are huge and they've moved the maingear tyres back - probably to try and stop it sitting on its tail.



I've got the old 2004 Aeroclassics release but I note that technically they are different schemes as this one has the Electra II titles added after the LEAP program whereas the AC version has original titles from before they started falling apart in mid-air. The Aeroclassics mould has its own issues but does have better landing gear:

Definitely a fair assessment! I do give Gemini credit for expanding to the US retro market over the last 2 years though!

Yup, our stock just came in. We sold out of at least one of the releases already but we'll restock them soon due to demand.
