I have written about Compass Airlines, the first attempt to compete in a deregulated Australia, before but the release of this Compass A310 by Aeroclassics gives me the opportunity to look at Australia's only registered A310 an aircraft that is still in service today and that I was lucky to see at RIAT in July last year.

Compass Airlines was the first attempt to compete against the duopoly of Ansett and Australian Airlines when market deregulation finally came about in November 1990. It was doomed to fail, but did become the only airline operator of VH registered A300-600
