A new year's resolution I hope to keep in 2024 is to finally complete part 3 of my history of 400 scale (which has been half finished now for more than a year) but to do that I need to actually complete several of the individual brand histories it refers too. Witty Wings and Apollo were two brands that came out of the original AV400/IF400 stable and burned brightly for a couple of years before falling into bankruptcy. That was a shame as they had begun to release some impressive widebody moulds with new innovations like see through fans. Here's a look at the two brands short histories:
