I was taking a look at yesterdays airlines and saw the mould sample for the AV400 787. I can't believe it was announce in 2020 and expected to hit market by end of 21 early 22. Time flies. It feels like it was announed a few months ago.

Doe anyone know if they have released any 787's yet? Are they still planning on it?

Definitely a beauty! I purchased the Lufthansa version to check it out. Well worth the wait and every penny. As Richard stated, it is very much at the same benchmark as the NG version but the beauty of tilting landing gear and red beacon jewels.

Absolutely stunning! I think it looks much better than the Gemini, and maybe better than the NG. If they make a Qantas, Air NZ, UA, Scoot or Shanghai Airlines example I will buy one instantly.

Maybe the only minor that could be improved is the "angry" cockpit, but other than that, it looks like a beautiful piece. Always admire their attention to small moulded details such as the antennas and beacon lights, as well as the black dots (don't know the name of it, apologies) on top of the fuselage.

Yes, I totally agree with your opinion that they are much better than Gemini. I have also an Ethiopian 787-9 from NG and I feel that regarding the mould and level of detail in print quality they are the same, but AV400 beats NG with the additional beacon lights and ADF (thanks @skonga ).

So I would absolutely love them to make 787-8s from Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines (here the normal one and the Star Alliance version). These I would pick up instantly with a big big smile!

As long as you don't pre-order, you will be fine. Just ask your local retailer to email you when they are in stock, that's what I do.

I missed out on the Qatar 787-9 by NG Models, should I get the Aviation400 version instead. I am still having doubts about it.
