i also don’t see why you need to promote your videos here. I know you can do what you want but most people already watch them in the first place so it’s not like you’re gaining viewers, and these videos usually end up being criticized pretty heavily too. Just my thoughts.

There’s thousands of views of day on here, so I would think there’s people on here that I’ve never seen my videos…

I’ve discussed the criticism and my plans to restructure the presentation of material which will hopefully will induce positive feedback.

I just want to put my two cents in. As a fellow YouTuber, I can really get Connor’s struggle with trying to get good content out while staying punctual. Connor has both YouTube and a full time job, and I can imagine how hard it is to juggle those. I personally struggle with staying punctual with uploads (Haven’t uploaded in a while now) and I am very impressed Connor has kept the daily, sometimes twice daily uploads.

Also, the algorithm has been quite unkind to model aviation recently, and that could be the reason why people will do anything to try to get a few more loyal viewers. I’m guilty of that too.

Engagement “bait” like “comment below” is not a scummy thing to do, If you know YouTube and know the algorithm that is exactly what creators need to grow bigger audiences.

I think Connor makes some great content and I think people are really over-hating here. That’s my two cents on this.

Agreed on this. However, Connor does do prerecorded videos making daily posts able.

In all fairness there's nothing in the rules that says you can't - only thing would be to avoid excessive promotion I assume. I don't have a problem with it.

This is an interesting subject and I am also going to stick my two pence in on this.

I’m not sure I’d say the criticism on this thread is ‘over-hating’. If you are posting to social media, making content and expressing your opinions then you are opening yourself up to that feedback/criticism. I think Connor’s response is reasonable, take the feedback on the chin and make the change.

However, the videos + what is advertised/posted on this forum by Connor does to me, come across like it’s not for this community of people. There will of course be exceptions and people who want to see this content on here but when you have the detail oriented and critical eyes of the people on this forum, it’s inviting conflict. Especially the age old Gemini vs NG debate that keeps rearing its head.

Constantly using ‘Gemini jets’ in lots of video titles when it’s not related to Gemini jets just for in-sighting more clicks, appeals to the young Gemini fan club but it’s kind of annoying and doesn’t help your claim of no association/biased to gemini
