16 New Model Samples To Be Announced & On Show at the Amsterdam Fair This Weekend

I like the A340! Yes, there are plenty of decent molds of the type available, but sometimes the benefit of a new manufacturer chiming in is the potential for many re-releases. Sold-out Aeroclassics A340s are not precisely easy to find, for example.

Excited for these new molds, especially the A340s. Here's what else I think we might see.

1/200:
  • A319
  • CRJ-700
  • 737-700, 737-800, 737-900

1/400:
  • A220-100, -300
  • 747-100, -200, -300, -400
  • 757-300
I doubt we'll see these in 1/400 but I'd really love them:
  • 727-100, -200
  • DC-10 Series
  • E-170, -175, -190, -195
  • MD 81, -82, -83, -88

Continuing the announcement of new NG Models mould samples to be on show at the Yesterday's Airlines table at the Amsterdam Fair this weekend. I have checked the tracking of the parcel and can confirm it is making excellent progress so I'm feeling confident they should arrive in time.

New samples 5 and 6 fill the gaps in the 737 MAX family in 400 scale with both the MAX-7 and MAX-10. To date there have been no versions of either of these, yet to be delivered, variants in the scale but I'm sure that won't be the case in a few years time. Stay tuned for the first 200 scale mould samples announcements in a few hours.

And yes I may be being slightly cheeky with the order of these announcements!

I'm 99% sure you (and a lot of others) won't be disappointed. And no, I'm not just guessing.
I bet it will! Seeing the trend also gives me hope for a decent enough 757-300. As the new iterations are just variants, maybe A320 with double bogey?

Are you NG Models official spokesman then? Seems bizarre that they wouldn't announce these moulds themself.
I've been exclusively sent NG models sample since 2018 and have announced almost all their moulds up to this point. There have only been a handful that I haven't ended up announcing. We've got a good relationship as I'm trusted by them and community in general. I'm not official in the sense that I'm not employed by them in anyway but I have the social media reach and capability to get the message out. They seem happy with the arrangement.

Most manufacturers don't announce new moulds at all!

It feels like the only brand that's actively making new mould is NG.
Nah that isn't the case. So far this year there has also been:

737-600: Gemini Jets
767-400: Gemini Jets
An-26: JC Wings
A330-800: JC Wings
A330-900: Aviation400
A320: Aviation400 (not quite released yet)

Last year Panda made the Tu-134UBL and AV400 completed their A380. Only Aeroclassics and Phoenix are largely inactive in mould creation.

Issue is that there hasn't been a lot of variety and some of what has been made hasn't been great either.

Still NG made way more just with this batch.

The internet is about to explode! NEW 747 moulds! Who would have imagined.

BTW, JC is also releasing the interactive A300-600ST Beluga in both 1/400 and 1/200.
