16 New Model Samples To Be Announced & On Show at the Amsterdam Fair This Weekend

whilst I’m not thrilled over the a330neo, it’ll be a very good mould. The a340 is interesting as theres alot of subject matter to cover.

im excited to see what other moulds NG is working on. I’m hoping for a 767 😀

They've kept their word on the A330neos / A340s. Which is a fantastic thing and frankly very welcome.

We definitely need an improved option to the great-but-not-spectacular PH A340s.

An aside, but does this explain the recent Phoenix A340s revival? Hmmm..... Expect more A340s announcements from PH now.

The Av400 A330neo is frankly appalling considering their recent streak of excellence - and takes over their relatively decent A330ceos as a legitimately poor Av400 mould.

While everybody is praising AV A330NEO, I want to raise that while their nose shape has been great, everything from them so far has had a big issue, the fuselage being visibly too thin, thinner for about at least 2mm from counterparts' offerings.

If you compare AV 77w and 359 to NG or JC version, it's a good 2mm thinner, which seems a little odd, otherwise they are ok.

Hence very excited for the new NG version! Hope they can pull it off finally

Are they being prased? I've seen criticism about them, specially about the nose section, which ended up way too round.
yeah then that's another issue to add.

But the biggest problem is the narrower fuselage, IMO this is fatal and why I'm phasing out all my newer AV400 models in favor of NG/JC/PH counterpart after found out about it.

The weather vane of what’s to come from NG is clearly seen in the renaissance of once forgotten molds on new and old liveries from Gemini, JC and Phoenix. Hence, the question I had posed on wether we should rush to buy these newly found holy grails… it makes sense to me to sit back and see what NG does now.
I do hope though that including all these new types to their catalog does not close the chances of seeing other of their molds in yet to be released and highly anticipated models. What they have to do is to prepare to ramp up monthly release count again.

Always exciting to see what NG are going to do to shake up the market next hehe.
Just wondering if we won't end up with a JC Wings 2.0 where there exists a manufacturer with an amazing mould catalogue that just constantly produces modern and/or types that every other manufacturer is making instead of making nice models no one else could make (Though to be fair I feel like JCW has been improving lately - but this doesn't change the point I'm trying to make here)

In my opinion, NG has the best A330 mould, so the A330neos and A340s will be a great addition! IB and LH A343s in their old liveries please!

Super excited for NG's A340! I'd love to see all of these have a release on the new mould.

Following on from the A330-800/900 the 3rd and 4th samples from NG that will be on display at the Yesterday's Airlines table at the Amsterdam Aviation Fair will be slightly older Airbuses from the same lineage, in the form of the A340-200 and 300. It has been pointed out previously that NG's packaging for the 330 was designed to accommodate the 340 and so it's not a massive surprise to see them.

The A340 has had a decent number of moulds over the years, mostly pretty good, but not massive representation recently. In terms of existing active moulds there are I think 4 (Aeroclassics, Aviation400, JC Wings / Gemini and Phoenix).

That's the end of the Airbus widebodies in this sample set by the way.

Now I'm not a huge Airbus fan but this is probably the largest W we've seen from NG yet.
