I don't see how this would work without looking botched up. I mean, you'd need to precisely mask off the corogard to work out the low speed aileron's edges. But removing the coroguard on the outer surfaces would be an easy fix. A soft rubber und acetone will do the trick.
Yes, it's that minor difference that kills it. I mean, you don't print "corogard" on a control surface. That's a 100% no-no.
I accept Yu making a "one mould fits both" product, but this is ignoring the key vissual difference between a "classic" and a "600".
the color does seem to be consistently more darker than it was irl, so yes you are correct

In real life yes, unless LH messed up. D-ABYT resembles a mid 70's 747 and that D-AIAA's timeframe as well. Here’s a comparison between YU’s LH A300 and YY’s LH 747-8 in the same cheatline livery.
Although the one on the 747-8 is a retro livery, the colour on this 748 in real life should reflect what was actually painted on Lufthansa aircraft back in the day.
I don't really have an issue with the nose. The short nosegear is however annoyingThere's something odd with the nose shape. The CF6-50 shape here is also quite weird. But the most annoying issue is the super nose-down stance.
The short nosegear is however annoying
Nosegear too shortIs the nose gear short - or the main gears too tall?
I have two (AF and LH) : I find the nose well made (better than Aeroclassics), on the other hand indeed the nosegear is too short. It’s all the more embarrassing since the correction would surely not have been too difficult before the market launch...I don't really have an issue with the nose. The short nosegear is however annoying
It’s true, and that’s a shame, because the rest is quite good.I’m don’t have a big pick for imperfections, but that nose down stance is definitely not good.
According to them, they said the mold has been sent for modification, and subsequent products will have the improved landing gear. It’s true, and that’s a shame, because the rest is quite good.
How to spoil a model with a big mistake, and so close to the goal!
I don’t understand, they had the time however to inspect the model before its commercialization... more than a year between the announcement and the release!
The A300 being one of my favorite aircrafts, I expected a lot from this model... so I am a bit disappointed.
I hope they will correct this error, and quickly, so as not to impact all their upcoming releases.
Will the next set also have this problem? (Air Niugini, Pan Am, Prototype 600).
Now I’m looking forward to the improved A300 mold from Phoenix, to see how it compares with YU.
Without a doubt, already no front landing gear height problem at Phoenix!
Yu said that the nose gear height will be fixed in the next production. Apparently they are making some retail exclusive models which are unannouncedIt’s true, and that’s a shame, because the rest is quite good.
