Hi to all.
Maybe this is a news of a year ago but in these days It becomes even more actual.
RADIA GROUP is a manufacturer built in 2016 based in Amsterdam and Boulder (USA) and they are close to start the construction of the largest airplane ever built, the "Windrunner". 109 meters long, 80 meters wingspan, 7.700 cubica meters space, 80 tons payload Wright, 2.000 km/h speed at 40.000 ft, runway lenght 1.600/1.800 meters. A real miracle of human technology.
The news is coming back in these days because in Italy some manufacturers are starting to project some parts of this giant: in fact Radia Group will work with Radia Italia, Leonardo and Magnaghi Aerospace so in Puglia and Campania regions (Italy) some sections of the airplane will be created. First flight in 2029, entering in service around 2030.
This monster will be mainly used for up to 100 meters long turbine winds transport but also for missiles, satellite and other off size structures.

I genuinely don't think it could be even built it feels unrealistic.
