I think both need to have slightly taller main gears! Both seem to fail to get the "nose down, tail up" attitude of the A330-200.

Agreed. JC's new (A332-successor) A330-800neo mould gets that posture absolutely correct. Of course their A330ceo mould does the opposite - wondering when they'll just begin to swap the old ceo mould gears with the new neo ones.
NG's is still the best amongst the competition imo now that Panda's isn't around - even though it isn't as raked as it should be - and been wondering if they've progressively been making the A330 'level' for whatever reason.
