Show Your Latest 1:400 Purchase

A new arrival, an AV400 Qatar Airways A350-1000 A7-ANM. Gives me a nice A35K for the collection, however the printing is still something I would like to see improved in the future. Nevertheless, happy to welcome it to my collection.

Great addition to your collection! Be glad that you managed to get a Qatar A350, models of these planes were extremely difficult to find before this model was released, so it's bound to sell quickly. Hopefully you can also get the -900 to complete the set!

This Qatar was hard to find as well, I missed my chance to purchase it from my local retailers as it sold out almost immediately. I ended up purchasing this from AliExpress, which was a bit iffy, but it worked out nicely for me. Lovely model, printing leaves a bit to be desired but I may just have been spoiled by recent NG and Panda acquisitions😭.

In terms of an Qatar A350-900, unless NG releases another one in the future, I don't see much of a reason to purchase one. It would end up being really similar to the A35K I have right now, and I already have an A359 in the form of a lovely AV400 Aeroflot example. If I ever get the chance, I will but a Qatar A359 isn't that high up on the list for now, I'd rather have a Qatar A330 or a 787 to expand the fleet further just for the sake of diversity.

This is my latest arrival to my collection, this stubby little Ansett Boeing 767-200 VH-RMG by GeminiJets

This is still a great model, and better than the Aeroclassics version. I've got it in my Ansett fleet.

Going proper old stool with these old classics, both from Aeroclassics!

G-AKGL, a BOAC Boeing 377 Stratocruiser
&
G-APMF, a BEA Comet 4B
Beauties. Well done. Not easy to find that pair.

The background changes and here are my latest arrivals.

Delta 747-132 N9896 by GJ. An early model of the brand. The model follows my SQ B744 presented before as my "memories" collections - which I got models I carelessly took care of during my childhood. The model came without a box and with a bit wingflex.

A quadruple of Canadian 737s by AC - which the seller kindly asked whether I would like to take all. These models would.be part of my fantasy fleet.
- First row (without boxes) and from left to right: Canadian Pacific B737-296 C-GQBB and Canadia B737-2E7 C-FEPL
- Second row and from left to right: Canadian Air Cargo B737-275C/Adv C-GDPW and Canadian (Air Liberal) B737-217Adv C-GCPY.

The Canadian collection also include a T-tail model - InterCanadian Fokker 100 C-FICQ by JC...

And a widebody - Candian B747-475 C-FBCA by BB Mk.3. This is my first BB Mk.3 744. The model also got a minor paint scratch though.

All previous models were from the same seller. This model I bought 2 months ago and was waiting to have my hands on. It is as hard to get like my CX B742 Lettuce but with a bit of luck I got. Introducing Air India B747-237B VT-EBN by BB Mk.1. Note the mi or paint fades on this model. It might be unavoidable for this AI 742.

That's all for today's arrival. I hope you all like the pictures.

Even though there are two great new 767 moulds on the scene that isn't stopping me picking up some nice older releases. This 2008 release 'new VARIG' 767-300 from Witty Wings is a recent addition. I hadn't realised that new VARIG had operated 9 767-300s. PR-VAD flew with them from December 28, 2007 until new VARIG was rebranded as GOL in 2009.

I don't miss this "Varig" at all. It was purely Gol trying to profit with the brand of a deceased airline. I'm quite glad this brand was absorbed back into Gol
