Very nice interactive collection! Is the AN225 from ALB models? And who did the 124 and the A300 Beluga?
Yes, the An225 is from ALB. The 124 was manufacturered by the very same factory who did the 225 called bluewings. The beluga was a recent release from JC wings.

NG Saudi TriStar finally here, along with the new livery Emirates duo from Gemini Jets.

Pretty happy for receiving both, especially 9V-SMZ as that's the final puzzle for my SQ "Megatop" collection😃 (Standard/Tropical/Star Alliance/50th anniversary)

Hey everyone, why not post an update with my most recent 1:400 purchase. For everyone who knows me i’m doing great still, thanks for the check-ins via ray here and there. Just been doing my thing collecting Delta and still enjoy collecting as a whole. Obviously the whole Discord side of things I know never worked out but i’m going to try and be more active on here. So here’s a GJ Delta 727-200 with the Bicentennial sticker! FYI I did obtain a new display shelf that I picked up from FB marketplace and fixed up a bit and made it cool. Clearly I already need more room lmao. Here’s my database if you want to check out my other recent wallet emptying purchases

Great to hear from you, hope all is well!

A single arrival for me today, which is also my first ever purchase from Amazon (from what I know, Amazon's 1/400 model price is a tad outrageous). This is the last piece from the store that I purchased - Sprue Brothers LLC. I have been noticing the shop on Amazon for quite a while, particularly on products on the lower end of the price spectrum (usually models whose operators are not favored by US collectors). Prior to the price I bought, it was listed 24.99USD - shipped free to any address in the US - wow what a deal for a widebody. I was already tempted to purchase it by then but the fund was insufficient. At the end of last month, on a pure chance that I looked at that the shop, the price was reduced by 5USD - a whopping 20% - I grab the chance immediately. The shipment was as planned given by Amazon, but I saw it stuck for quite a few days at the arrival USPS post - must be due to its low priority. In short, here is my new model: Sichuan Airlines Cargo A330-243F (original freight-purpose built) B-308L PandaModels 1:400.

It was fine during the initial visual inspection when I took it out of the box - no paint scratch, antennas were in place. However, when I took it out of the cradle, its port wing felt out, no damage though. A quick fix for me. Here is a picture with the wing was not in place.

The question lies here: is it worth 25USD shipping included all the way from the US to Vietnam for this model? For me, it's an absolute yes! I think this must be the best deal I got this year. This is the 2nd Chinese freight carrier I got in my collection.

SMZ looks amazing, SQ really nailed their 747 specials. The Dragon mould is quite underrated as well.

A third 747-400 of the month just arrived at my doorstep - and I'm pleased to add a new airline to my collection 😃

Nose - the era it depict would be around 2005 given the 21 anniversary sticker

Tail - printing is definitely not on par with today's effort, but still holds up well against time. (The Varga girl is a bit pixelated - but then again it's so old that it's branded as GJ II!)

I am definitely too obsessed with 747s - I have more 747 than my entire Airbus collection!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It's Sunday now and I'm really glad that the postman came (usually only private post services work at the weekends but this parcel was delivered by the national courier - kinda surprising). Today's arrivals feature a NG redemption model (I guess I am the ones who receive NG redemption models really really late - I hope the next time I can get it sooner by changing the receive point!) and a clearance model which I got so as to combine the shipping (the merchant carrier I used from Malaysia has a minimum package limit of 1kg so I want to maximize it!). Introducing:

- Air China Cargo B777-200F B-2098 by Phoenix Models 1:400. I wasn't planning of take on Chinese cargo carriers since I have not finished collecting passenger airlines from China yet. But that decision took a turn when I ordered the Sichuan A332F - now I need to get more Chinese freight aircraft - oh my wallet!

- Republic Airlines B757-200 N606RC with mismatched Royal Brunei engine cowling by NGModels. I guess repairing model has become my new pastime. It is not a good sign when. i saw small black paint flakes at the bottom of the cradle. When getting it out of the cradle, the starboard wing was loose, so I tried to take it out and then reglue it. But the wing joint on NG 757 was really tight so I could not lush it all the way in and there was a noticeable gap from above. Within several days of each other I received 2 models with loose wings, I hope that bad luck doesn't continue.

A closer look at the starboard wing. Notice that the paint scratches at the plug-in position.

Very nice model!

Yesterday I finally added something really special to my collection. It’s special because it finally completes a single type of aircraft that i’ve collected every single offerable one of in 1:400 (which happens to be just GJ). And respectively it’s the neatest one out of the bunch. Super happy to have this one now! Additionally the box has seen better days though 😬

I just got back from uni and new models came! (Yes I am getting many models as of late, I admit). These came in the form of pre-orders (3 from Taobao) and pre-owned from the secondhand site. A kinda diverse set, I must say. I will introduce the models in the same sequence as I opened the box:

- A 2nd-hand purchase that I have thought for a long time due to the inactivity of the real machine. When I checked on FR24 and saw her flying after the long 4 year hibernation. I decided to grab this model, and luckily it still waited for me. Hong Kong Airlines A320-200 B-LPK by Skywings 1:400 (Skywings was a big model shop in China and they cooperated with brands making models for their store, PM is their frequent partner) using PandaModels initial mould with the dated small landing gears. With the added aerials as compared to its original mould, the model still looks good in 2023! For Hong Kong Airlines passenger jet, I considered between this wing-fence version and its winglet counterpart. Spoiler alert: the price paid a major role in choosing which one. Also the A332 from PM was in the discussion board, nonetheless its active flying days are still far from now, not a choice for me.

- The next 3 models cams from the preorder which was delivered around a month from when I ordered. The stunningly beautiful and colorful low cost carrier fron Thailand - Nok Air Boeing 737-800WL HS-DBY with the purple scent by PandaModels. Interestingly, the light green livery (HS-DBZ) was more popular and was sold out by many stores on Taobao. The store which still has HS-DBZ lists them around at least 20% higher than its original price - inflation for the model world! Besides I like the striking look of dark purple more. One thing to notice is that the cradle for PM B738 does not contain adequate space from the front underbody antenna.

- Ah, the domes, the canoes! Russian Air Force (title-less) Tu 214PU-SBUS RA-64530 by PandaModels! Waitttt? I think PM has the largest share of my arrivals this year - from good oldies to the latest releases! PM captured well all the antennas. Also I feel that the landing gear is somewhat higher than the original Air Koryo Tu204 they made 2 years ago, which makes it good! I kinda rushed to purchase this model as NG just announced that same model!

- Save the best for the last, the quadjet is here! I heard some clink noise when holding the box! Maybe the shop included for me a stand, I thought! Introducing Aeroflot Ilyushin IL86 CCCP-86096 by JCWings - very nice reg! Initially I didn't think of getting this model as I already have the GJ CCCP version. But I thought this would be a nice addition, so why don't I get it? So I got it!

The starboard view of 4 models:

The port view of 4 models:

And did that noise make you wonder? Unfortunately, it is the sound from a detached starboard horizontal stabilized. I don't know why within these 3 recent orders, not all models came in one piece. I just wonder, why? Bad luck I guess, but quick fix it was. I just hope no more models came loose or missing parts, I had too much!

Thank you all for viewing this extremely long new-arrival post!
