Finally, Singapore Airlines 787-10 (9V-SCA) by NG.

This is a 2020 release I've been trying to snag for a year, but it was sold out everywhere... Until a brand new one popped up for sale in my local shop. No clue how they got it, but I salute the folks at Skyworld lol.

Impeccable model as expected; the blue coloring, gears, cockpit windows, and aerials are all superior to my JC.

I am waiting for NG to do more SQ but they keep on doing Qatar. Why no SQ anymore.

Nose close up - never realize AV400 actually screwed up the Dragon on the nose  View attachment 21143
very nice match with those 2 models, never noticed the AV400 dragon was messed up either, but I dont think anyone really notices that

Just got my second NG model! 😎
Britannia Airways Boeing 757-200 G-BYAD, with "Keep Duty Free" titles.
I've spent many months with the JC Wings version on my eBay Watch List, but never really had it as a priority to buy.
In the end, I've found a super sweet opportunity to grab the NG version for a very cheap price. Couldn't miss it!

The quality is always impressive to me. I really love the 757s of NG... in my eyes, they're flawless!

Here's my beloved duo of NG birds:

I really hope to see NG releasing more 757s, specially the classic ones. Too bad they now seem to focus a lot in the same modern Asian stuff, becoming quite boring and repetitive in their choices. I'd love to see a Challenge Air Cargo 757 freighter.
But, in the end of the day, i'm so glad they release fantastic models! I wonder which NG model will be my third. Only time will tell!

Pan Am L-1011 (N507PA) by NG.

Quality Pan Ams in 1:400 are rare, so this was a no-brainer to complement my 747SP. Note the more "hazy" chrome finish; I personally think it gives a nice lived-in feel to the model.

What a fantastic model. Looks great next to the SP!

Got a parcel that I had been waiting on for a while. Superb contemporary classics from the 1980s-2000s. The Phoenix's had been sitting at my retailer for a while waiting for the NG's to arrive and ship together.

I decided to do something new with these arrivals, and do scored reviews of the models. The first one was the Pan Am L-1011-500.

There is a thread here.

And an article here.

Add me to the list of folks receiving their NG Pan Am Tristar and AA chrome 777. Very excited to receive both. As frustrating as NG's delays can be, the end results have never not been worth it.

Another treasure from Dragon.

There is a story behind this. A few years ago I purchased a "Herpa" KLM 747-400M PH-BFU from the Burbank House of Hobbies eBay store. It was actually a DW model in a Herpa KLM Asia box. I knew from the listing pictures, but I didn't care as it was a good price and the model fit my needs. Later I found out that the proper DW box that corresponded to the model was commemorative of KLM's 80th anniversary in 1999! So I started wishing I had the proper box.

Well, recently another DW PH-BFU popped up on the Grayland Station eBay store for a reasonable price so I bought it just for the box. To my surprise it was mint, and besides the box, the stand (which I was also missing) also came with a commemorative emblem and a production run number. A very nice and unique touch. I don't recall ever seeing a non-generic DW stand. So happy.

Looks really good! I still don't have any dragon wings models but even until now dragon still does really good with their moulds, that stand is also quite nice, would be nice to see other 1:400 companies do this with their stands

I got the NG Models Argentina world cup A330 'Messi' edition in the post yesterday, along with a nice eBay bargain in the form of the Dragon Wings Boeing 767-200, Air Canada polished fuselage edition.
