Some arrivals from the last week but I haven’t got time to share. Though I have not got any new releases from NG - their old range is better than current offerings. All are narrowbodies and mostly are Boeings.
Starting with an airline from the other side of the pond -
WestJet B737-6CT C-GWJU. NG wasn’t the first to bring the 736 in a modern mould but I liked their rendition a bit more than Panda’s - particularly the nose gear is well-sized as my JANETs.
Then here is the sistership -
WestJet B737-7CT C-GWSO. The nosegear could have been fitted better but the details are good.
A previous poll let me choose the United Nation scheme, but I also liked Skyteam from MF as well. As I have not any Skyteam livery model so it is a must -
XiamenAir B737-85C B-5302 “Skyteam” livery. Only know that I knew this particular frame was converted and now operate as a freighter.
Also a pair of B73H from China - I have mentioned that special scheme is not my favorite but they started growing on me. Accompanying the previous CUA it is this “less colorful in terms of special scheme”
China United Airlines B737-89P B-20AD “CU Book”. There is some small paint defect in the belly
A vibrant special scheme -
China United Airlines B737-89P B-208U “City of Chengdu”. This is an Ultimate Collection model but I have not seen the accompanying stand - which is kinda odd.
An expansion to my SW portfolio with the B738 standard scheme at home are these 2 special scheme MAXes. Their underbelly detail is not that impressive as I’d have thought. But here is the “Yellow Mustard” -
Southwest Airlines B737 MAX 8 N871HK "Herbert D. Kelleher"
The previous scheme of the airline -
Southwest B737 MAX 8 N872CB “Canyon Blue”.
And lastly, the only Airbus of the set coming from Iceland with a striking red scheme -
Play A321-251N TF-AEW. Play would become the 2nd Icelandic passenger carrier in my collection.
I wish you all a fantastic weekend!
