Today's arrival is a beautiful Sovereign Models Olympic Airways Boeing 747 SX-OAA I got the model for a good price 40 dollars. I already have a copy of this model so a bit on the fence of to keep it or sell it. It looks great next to my Olympic Airways B747 SX-OAB by AC. Here's the pic.

These are lovely! The JAL 767 is a beauty. I wish Phoenix would also release a Martinair 767 in the 1980 colors, with that beautiful polished belly too.
Those MD-11s are also great. I wonder if these already have the corrected nose gear length? They look smaller to me :)

Thanks for posting this! I had lost track of these Phoenix KLM MD-11s. From what I can see it seems like they went back to printing the proper details on the starboard side of the nose. I might get one of them.

Nice! I've bee waiting to see these MD11's. I'm a bit skeptical about those engines though. They look a bit p&w-ish.

LOVE the Jetstar! I've been looking for that model for ages, yet to find one appropriately priced though. 😔

I had to look for photos of aircraft with both engine types to see exactly what you were talking about. The nacelle definitely looks like a Pratt, not a very refined one at that, but the exhaust is definitely GE.

I looked at my Swissair Phoenix MD-11 and oddly enough the PW nacelles look a bit more rounded, like the GE.

Maybe someone at Phoenix got the MD-11 nacelles mixed up?

I guess there is hope in Panda, but that remains to be seen. Good luck with JC releasing a popular MD-11; their MD-11 engines seem better.

At any rate, the money has left the account 😅

Latest weekend inductions into the collection are another pair of excellent Aviation400 A380s. First up is F-HPJA. My collection criteria wouldn't usually go near such a modern Air France aircraft but for the 380 I'll make an exception.

The second A380 is the Emirates version. You can't really have an A380 display without an EK example so it's great to be able to get one that isn't on the GJ mould. Not a Rugby fan but it does the job nicely.

Yep! I have the other version with the 'DINAR' titles - so am glad this was on offer.
I think the last noteworthy 757 release was the Aerogal pair from almost a year ago?

Actually mine one is the Dinar aswell! :D
And yes, I guess the Aerogal duo was the last interesting 757 they released.

Too bad Avensa didn't make it... I asked them about two years and they showed interest, but by now they seem like a completely different brand.

Too bad  I'd like to see them release a Challenge Air Cargo and maybe Finnair in the 1990s livery. For Brazilian collectors, Varig and OceanAir would be stunning!

I would take the CAC 757, not only was it a visitor of CCS during the 90s, but also has ties to my current line of work. I hope they do a Varig 762 in the delivery colors. Do you if Varig ever took the 777s to CCS, I believe I saw one once, but could have been a 767 or 757. Landor livery.

CAC would be great. Air Aruba, the last Avianca colors and the last Air Holland colors would be my NG 757 suggestions.

Air Aruba would be great, but I must say I'd rather have the MD-88 made by NG

According to a fellow Brazilian collector, both Varig 777 and MD-11 also visited CCS :) and B737-800 (Landor livery PP-VSA/VSB)
