NG Model January 2025 Release Hints

I see 7 models that easily fit within my collection criteria
all 3 MD-80s, the Condor Rizzi, EA 1011, CZ 738 Expo, and the PA 747SP - if it's with the broad cheatline
This is a great set!

Overall thoughts:
- Still a lot of Chinese aircraft and duplicates but it’s to be expected. At least there are some new (to me) airlines like the West Air A319s. Keep in mind I’m not well-educated on Chinese airlines.
- I’m pleased to see the MD-80s be at least half-decent products. N9615W I already own from Dragon Wings so I’ll hang on to what I have. The other two I don’t really care for.
- The models I’m considering are the Evo 763 and the Eastern L-1011. The latter’s about five years too late but better late than never I suppose.

It’s better than their last few announcements so I’ll give them that. Recognizing the demand for the MD-80 and what market share is being sucked up by their competitors will be a key part in NG’s success this year.

If I never see another Delta A350-900 in 400 scale I'd be fine.
Don’t forget about the newly unveiled 100th Anniversary livery (N527DN) — expect everyone and their grandmother to do this 😂

This one made me chuckle a bit. Why is NG so obsessed with these tiny tiny tiny variations of livery?!
Helps to inflate the release size 😂 There’s 43 1:400s alone this month!

You can call me biased towards US collecting all you want but I actually think it’s pretty cool. Another thing to note is that it’s United’s oldest active plane right now.

Same, I might end up getting this one myself to keep my Gemini UA 767 company. It's a unique release and adds a bit of variety to the set in a rather 2000's manner

This is the same person that said Asian collectors don't care as much about details as Western collectors. So.......
Ohh 🫣.....Which is why NG makes excellent quality models for the Chinese audience, and GJ makes terrible quality models for the American audience. Last I checked, China is still an Asian country though.
