One of them could be with the '25 years' sticker on the other reg (NG has made F-OTOA) - and a regular scheme -@BHD Yes, there were a couple released back in 2024.
It's just clumsy wording. It's just end of year stock sales. All brands do it - sell off old stock to retailers at cheap prices.Anybody hear anything about this? @YesterAirlines
Thought so. I have a few chats going crazy over thatIt's just clumsy wording. It's just end of year stock sales. All brands do it - sell off old stock to retailers at cheap prices.
It doesn't mean the factory is closing
The smaller titles look lovely on the A359Come on NG, if you’re not going to release something just say so. No need to lie, with a concrete date no less.
Also, it’s not hard to release an HL heavy that actually fucking exists. Seriously.
Is that using the A350-900 wing?
Everyone's doing -1000s with 900 wings, so I highly doubt they'd do a -1000 now for the F.Is that using the A350-900 wing?
The wing's the same as the A35K's?Everyone's doing -1000s with 900 wings, so I highly doubt they'd do a -1000 now for the F.
They have 98+% commonality so I'd be surprised if the wing would be different. The wing's the same as the A35K's?
Yeah, I'm no expert on model airliner production but I think it would be pretty hard to make a noticeably different wing for the -1000. There is only a 4% wing area difference from extended flaps/slats and none to the span so I don't see how there would be a visible difference. Maybe at the 1:200 scale but not in 1:400. But since it hasn't been done, who knows? They have 98+% commonality so I'd be surprised if the wing would be different.
Making a different wing wouldn't be a problem at all - technically speaking - but the question would be: is it really necessary? I'd think 95% of collectors don't even know there's a difference and out of the remaining 5% I'd guess the majority wouldn't see a difference at all - maybe the increased chord of the winglet would give it away. But I highly doubt even NG would go for such mould, especially now that many -1000s have been done already.Yeah, I'm no expert on model airliner production but I think it would be pretty hard to make a noticeably different wing for the -1000. I think it might be a bit more expensive too. Also I'm the 95%Making a different wing wouldn't be a problem at all - technically speaking - but the question would be: is it really necessary? They might have done this in their early years where they paid attention to details to get a foot into the market, but not today.
the winds on the sample model look different to me. Note the larger sharklet on the starboard wing.Everyone's doing -1000s with 900 wings, so I highly doubt they'd do a -1000 now for the F.
