Probably my favorite video review from you this yearIn double quick time I've pulled together my ranking video of the announcements and this for me is probably the worst ever set announced by NG Models. I don't agree with all the criticism but it is hard to defend this bunch of models and possibly for the first time ever nothing reaches Supersonic in an NG set:
Alrighty that looks super nice. I’ll eat a very small portion of my hat because I’m sure as hell buying this one31038 PSA - Pacific Southwest Airlines L-1011-1 N10114 (with extra underbody fairing)View attachment 46329

The one way they could screw up is the paint (I better not be foreshadowing)Finally something to save this boring set from being a 100% crapshow. Great release!!!
For some maybe. For others there are a lot of options. Finally something to save this boring set from being a 100% crapshow. Great release!!!
The TWA twin globe scheme L-1011 N41012 also had the original exhausts too.Now that is a nice surprise. That PSA L-1011 doesn't redeem this set but goes a long way towards it and is a contender for model of the year if it turns out as well as it ought to. Note the original engine exhausts too. I don't think we've seen them since the pair of Court Lines:
