NG Model 1:400 June 2025 Release Hints

Given what NG is doing these days, OZ seems more likely. NG has been releasing models with the same livery but different registration numbers. KE’s 777-200ER and 777F have different logo placements, and the 777F features the “KOREAN AIR CARGO” logo.
As you said, Asiana Airlines' 772 has been released. While I'm personally happy about this release, I'm also a bit concerned that NG is losing diversity by using all HL registrations for Asiana. I would’ve preferred if Asiana and Korean Air’s 777F had been released together.

I hope with this batch NG will / has correct the cockpit printing issues on the 747.
That ways it's good to have them on these dry run CAs.
Although, going by their pattern, these 744s were probably made a while ago

I was also hoping for the release of KE’s 777F, so I was a bit disappointed to hear that all the HL registrations this month are for OZ. Not only the HL registrations, but the entire list seems to lack variety. Personally, aside from the OZ 772, EVA, and Etihad, there doesn’t seem to be much of interest this month. On the bright side, I saved some money

The variety that made NG so damn great is just dead. I don’t really care if they wanna have a month or two where they release predominantly Asian models, it’s seemingly their largest market and sometimes they put out intriguing offerings, even as a collector from America. But what’s really annoying to me is the obsessions with needing to release several models from a single airline, often of a single aircraft type, in the same release!! It completely saps the variety from releases. Combined with the sheer lack of creativity and the abandonment of most European and American (North, Central and South) representation over the last few months… it’s quite pathetic.

Still trying to find some earlier photos, but so far, it looks like the gray tails started appearing around 1993. Still trying to find out when the first AA MD-80 was delivered with the gray tail.

It would be great to know how many variations could be possible for NG to do (outside of reg differences ofc). Based on nose cone, tail shape/color, and possible stickers or other unique schemes. We have to be running out now right? lol

borrrrrringgggggg…

as much as my gut knew they’d be two more AA mad dogs (which are great to see but as a whole compared to the past) this is too many in this time span. Especially with how many other subjects could be done. An alaska like was mentioned earlier would have been such a fun addition, PSA, continental, i’m sure lots of european carriers im not thinking of, even a Delta (even with how many Gemini have done recently) would have been great.

Hopefully the 1011s work out for those anxiously waiting.

Otherwise, my other thoughts still stand. I’ll be pleasantly surprised to see anything interesting N reg related until economically things work out…which may take a while. Otherwise my eyes will be elsewhere for older releases or towards Gemini/others…
