That is very very very disappointing. I hope the Tristars do make an appearance otherwise this is a dreadful set and I take back what I said earlier in the thread and agree with the criticism entirely @ghqv2988 !!
Not 100% against a black nosecone AA MD-80 but this one doesn't even have the original tailcone and holy cow there were other operators of the type!
Ughhh!!! Models up on NG's site now too.

Yes, I would much rather have an AA MD-80 with the original tailcone...and the bare metal tail as delivered. This is N246AA at ORD 4/27/1985

I can’t disagree with that. I have all the previous NG AA MD-80 releases but I don’t know if I can keep up with this haha.At least it’s a really nice money grab!
On a good note, NG is saving me a lot of money this month (and last month and the month before that…)

I’m glad with the Asiana 777-200 ( with the little red logo ) and the EVA air 787-9 with 787 titles. A release will always be bad for somebody and good for somebody else. The fun thing about collecting is also the wait for a new release hoping the models you want will be released.
Could it also be possible that some releases are delayed because of copyright agreements with the airlines? Or is that something from the past, having the green light from an airline to produce a certain model?

Like I have said in other threads, as a Delta collector NG has destroyed me and I have been able to breath a sigh of relief.
