I meant they are quite new for NG not the A350They first appeared more than a year ago and more than half a year before cn720 entered the assembly line.

I was talking about NG obviousely.I meant they are quite new for NG not the A350
Great analysis. It is certainly oddI took a closer look into the history of A350 MSN 720 (N527DN), and I agree with others that it must have been a mishap by NG to use the old winglets.
According to a photo on Planespotters, the frame was seen unpainted on November 29, 2024: https://www.planespotters.net/photo/1685409/f-wznk-delta-air-lines-airbus-a350-941. No one knew about what the special livery would look like around that time, and NG might be no exception. However, around the same time, NG produced several A350s with the new winglets, such as the Delta Olympic liveries, Air France, and Emirates. So there must have been some mixups with their production.
...and it's not even a light blue.I just noticed on B-HNK (spirit of HK), the light blue band from nose to tail doesn’t seem to have the intricate design the real one carried. It’s just a solid band like the normal livery, maybe it’s the lighting but if NG really missed that, that would be a sorry mistake.
I can see it, subtle, but there.I just noticed on B-HNK (spirit of HK), the light blue band from nose to tail doesn’t seem to have the intricate design the real one carried. Yes, it's there, but the wrong (grey?) color is even more obvious in this pic.
I don't see this. They seem to adjust saturation, contrast and highlights/shadows but that happens on the entire picture. Altering certain areas would happen on purpose.NG photo-edits the official release photos way too much - so it's difficult to ascertain the exact colours most of the time.
What are you referring to specifically?I don't see this. They seem to adjust saturation, contrast and highlights/shadows but that happens on the entire picture. Altering certain areas would happen on purpose.
My NG Cathay 351 shows the same issue btw.
ChairFlyer101 mentioned the band on the fuselage and I added that it's the wrong color as per the picture (as in not matching the nacelles). I see this is the case on all new colors Cathays done by NG. Wonder why nobody ever mentioned it. Unless I missed it of course. What are you referring to specifically?
I see it now. The instagram photo is just too compressed to see it when zoomed it.
Lots unfortunately wrong with these two DL100sI think NG might miss the description of the Delta. I am disappointed also with the window lines, which are a bit too high in my taste.
