My 3D Printed GSE

It’s just now I stumble upon the reality there’s not too much STL files for specific GSE. So, I took matters into my own hands, and after about 40 minutes of design, I made these. 1:200 boarding ramps. If you have a 3D printer, you can print these on makerworld, if not, I might be willing to sell a prototype once I’m finished designing the third version. Here it is. Currently I only have a CRJ and ERJ height because that’s what I needed but I’m designing an A320/737 version. This prototype is with walls, but my final should be with a cover. Designed with TinkerCad.image.jpgimage.jpg

Oh my lord dude this is amazing!

Any chance you would make airstairs for both narrowbodies and widebodies? Adjustable perhaps? Just a suggestion but if those ramps took you 40 minutes, I would love to see what you could do in a few days!
Airstairs are more widely available and I’m not really interested in making something that complicated yet. but there is a nice airstair file on Cults3D for like $4 which is totally worth it and they’re adjustable.

UPDATE

1:400 ramps are not available to print for me yet. I need a new .2mm nozzle. 1:200 boarding ramps will be my first GSE that I would sell. I’m printing a 1:400 Grand Junction terminal if anyone is interested in that.

I think they work well actually!

I might try designing another level, and just redesigning them in total. They’re okay, but not ready for selling yet. These are also too big for the Dashes, they’re almost as big as the real airplane.

These don’t make a ton of sense for Dash 8s anyways as they have incorporated stairs on the door. Same generally goes to CRJs except i’ve seen some depending on region get funky and fancy with it I think.
