JC Wings 1:400 Release Hints (December)

VT-ESP seems to be the later scheme - with the pearl fuselage and Chakra tail. Not such a big fan of the scheme though.

XA-RWX seems to be the one with the titles on the rudder and bare metal fuselage? If so, I'm in.

Liking the ANA Dash 8 too

Who has the better mould for the 320ceo, Phoenix or JC? Both releasing G-EUYR in oneworld livery but unsure which to get
Neither are very good but I'd probably go with the JC Wings. It's a case of pick your poison. Check out my A320 detailed review:

If you ignore other engine options the JC Wings scored 22/30 and the Phoenix scored 16/30

But the NG scored 28/30 and even the Aeroclassics got 27/30 (I admittedly didn't score for aerials)

Nothing for me either. Haven't checked to be sure but a lot of repetition from previous releases?

Cathay Cargo 748 and Singapore 772 for me! The past two releases from JC have been much better than usual, hopefully they can keep it up.

SQ 772 :D Dragonair "25 anniversary" B-HYF:love::love:
Been looking for B-HYF for some time - yet nothing appeared on the market😭Finanlly a chance for me to catch it😭
Would have get the Garuda A330 - except that I've got the NG members version so that's a pass for me now:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Why would the JC 772 not make you happy? It's quite a good mould?
NG's is more accurate to the real thing - when one looks at it. JCs cockpit printing is off frequently, their nose tends to be overpolished (?), doesn't have the correct nose down posture of the fuselage, NG's engine detailing is spectacular, the wings are accurately sleeker and less chunky, the landing gears are way better, amongst other things.
Nowadays my reason to buy a JC 777 is only if I'm getting the flaps down version for on-stand display, otherwise NG's is great.

Couldn't agree more, although you missed out mentioning their APU. Still needs work, but everything else is bang on. I am not impressed with JC's 777 APU. The protruding appendages are way too long. Shout out to AV400's 777, which I place as second to NG. Sadly they are yet to produce a series 200.

I think you guys are being harsh on the JC Wings 777, which is a better mould than the Aviation400 version and pretty much on par with the NG. I haven't seen any overpolishing of the nose or particular issues with the landing gear and the JC mould certainly has a better tailcone and superior inner flap track fairings too.

Totally agree, the JC Wings Mould is really good so I don't see what exactly the issue is in that regard. Plus JC printing tends to be just as fine as NG usually so I don't think it really matters

JC's 777 is good but to say it's on par with NG is far off. would like to point out a few defects that are commonly overlooked

1) almost double-length'ed front gear height
2) No curvature on the wing like NG or PH
3) wabble main gear

Other than these it's a good mould, but I think 1) and 2) are already enough to make it unrealistic
