grass mat removal

Does anyone know how to smoothly remove model grass Mat from a wood surface without destroying the wood? I’m expanding my airport but I need to remove some grass. If anyone knows could you help me please!!

Did you glue the grass mat over the wood surface? You can try pulling it out very gently, maybe using some tool, like a spatula or something similar.
