Will 1:500 Gse work on 1:400 aircraft?

Hi, I recently purchased a 1:400 regional airport mat and now I am looking for Gse, I found good looking 1:500 gse for a good price, I am wondering If it will work well, if anyone knows please let me know.

hmmm i think it may work but if your like me and like things perfect then i would get the 400th scale ones

Yea, but I only need it for small 400 scales like Dash 8s, see are Jay's, A320 family and 737 family.

ok then it may work but i dont think it will line up perfectly
as i dont own anything smaller than a 753, but i imagine since those are rather small planes it may be less noticable

I have a little bit of 1:500 GSE, it works well on narrowbody 1:400 aircraft

Yeah, I mean for my old 1:200 airport, I used 1:400 GSE and it worked fine, so i'm sure that would translate down to your situation, I mean, it may not be exactly perfect to IRL, but as long as the equipment still fits-ish and serves its purpose, I think it would work just fine.
