How did you add the extra shelves? As far as I can tell Ikea does not sell extra shelves for the Detolf in Australia.

There are several tutorials online, I used the wire grips suggested in this one, but there are also some brackets available on eBay and other sites. In my experience getting the glass - cheaply - is the most challenging part. Some people say they have been able to get the extra glass directly from Ikea, but I wasn't that lucky with them (they advised me not to modify their products).

How long did it take to set them up? And who do you trust to clean the dust off?

On and off for about 3 hours. I have been using very soft clothes, it works pretty well from my expereince.

I use a microfiber cloth, I find it picks up dust very well.

I have used them as well and I love them. Anything soft usually does the trick!
