I just got my first stock of 3D Design Deck and they exceeded all my expectations.
For starters, all 13 models arrived intact after their journey from Toronto to Houston.
At first glance, I could not tell them apart from die-cast. The weight is the first giveaway. Of course, after you take a closer look you start to pick up some of the differences between 3D printing and die-cast. But still, these are fine little models and in many ways better than many of the die-cast offerings of today.
Best of all, these top-notch models are made in Toronto. Trust me when I tell you that having a manufacturer (and yes, 3D Design Deck is very much one) only one time zone away from yours, and that is fluent in English, goes a long way.
